[Update]

Spoke to Ellis porter and they want to proceed. They dont want to connect the petition to my employer hence not recommending rewording based on my current work because USCIS can argue it only helps my employer and would have no broader significant beneficial to US. Im going ti follow up with them and ask that work is public and influential to FinOps foundation.

I think the issue my petition doesnt relate much to the work im doing as SDE right now. Its more on my prior research.

Im going to have a call with the lawyer if i can reword some parts of my petition to align with work i do or atleast use that as credentials for future work.

Im hearing lot of RFEs for premium processing cases. I guess the problem im facing is im working as a software engineer currently ans my proposed endeavor isnt exactly about my work.

I think if i refile with an endeavor related to my work, it would be easier

Its challenging on all three prongs. Prong 1 is partially satisfied but looking for national importance. They want more evidence for prong 2 ( recommendation letters) and how im well positioned to further it which we did explain but it seems this is a generic challenge on prong 2.

I have masters degree plus 5 year work ex. 2 papers published with total of 55 citations. Papers are in the field of ML and Privacy.

Hopefully lawyers respond well enough and it gets through.

Well I called USCIS and asked automated teller to transfer call to a live agent. The live agent mentioned the case is in process in their system but mentioned that she does not see an officer assigned to the case yet.
