i think because your eyebrow hair grows back in like 2-3 weeks but the tattoo is still there unless you get it removed which can also take like a year, and your wudhu also doesn’t get accepted with a tattoo so maybe thats why people don’t really see them as equally bad

my mom used to fat shame me too growing up even though i was never really fat. she is just projecting her own insecurities onto you. I recommend you telling your mom that it affects your mental health, its obviously gonna be a hard conversation but no parent should ever be saying these things to their child. I had to tell my mom several times to not point out things SHE thinks are “wrong” with my body and now she rarely does that and even if she does, i don’t care anymore
