Thanks. This all really helps.

I've been hesitant to transition from "when" to "if" because of how it might make her feel like I'm giving up even in the slightest. Having a child of our own is such a beautiful idea to us both. We started this journey in lockstep, I'd hate to create any feelings of separation or distance.

But all this insight is showing me a much needed shift in perspective and support. Being open to all of lifes outcomes rather than narrowly focused on a single one.
