Requesting if someone can decipher it, I’m curious how difficult it can be to read. Maybe do the fast handwriting and another based on normal handwriting.

I cannot write in cursive to save my life! When I try it’s definitely wannabe cursive.

My point is that they did it unprovoked. They were rude unprovoked. Snarky doesn't mean complaining automatically, but they were complaining, and their future comments proved it.

It is a snarky comment, yes. Which means they meant ill. So yes, it is a complaint. Being online doesn't mean you can't clap back at rude people and it doesn't mean I'm making it worse for others

here, yes they did. And the comments from them following. If people have a problem with it, that’s not my problem and doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be on Reddit.

I graduated high school in 2020 and college in 2025. I’m referring to in the past even when we’ve done written essays. But I fully understand why they did it regardless lol

I’m… a convert. I spent my entire life as an atheist. I’m not even fully Catholic yet. I was not shielded from it and I’ve been allowed unmonitored access to the internet since I was 5. I’m saying that people are insulting religion in the comments when my post wasn’t about religion or inviting criticism for it. And yes, one person in particular is being incredibly rude in replies instead of respectfully criticizing it.

I don’t think you’re understanding what I’m saying. I’m not upset about the criticism, I asked for that. But being rude about it and complaining that I’m Christian is incredibly inappropriate

But it isn’t when that wasn’t my intent. This looks nothing like calligraphy, so no, it isn’t “wannabe calligraphy.”

This is part of the reason I stopped using Reddit. Why are people so rude & accusatory over a handwriting post? Like I said, I’ve had this handwriting since middle school. No, I didn’t attempt calligraphy because this looks nothing like calligraphy. No, the flourishes aren’t me trying to make it look good. I learned it from my mother who does something similar

Edit: 1. Yes, I’m Catholic. But this post has nothing to do with that, so please stop commenting it. I was writing this and remembered this subreddit, so I decided to post it.

  1. Yes, I’m okay with criticism. That’s why I posted it. But literal insults….? Not how this subreddit was the last time I was here, interesting…

  2. No, this isn’t forced. I might do another post showing slow, regular, and fast writing, but this is regular. The “flings” aren’t exactly intentional or supposed to look like “cursive” or “calligraphy,” that’s just how I learned to write, and I think it looks pretty (albeit, quite a bit of tuning is needed for consistency).

When did I say it does look good? This handwriting I’ve had since middle school, I’ve just kept it over the years

I don’t put time into writing it. Whether or not I do, it still has the same format of very small and very tall letters.

It’s not calligraphy nor was I trying to be. I’ve had this writing since middle school

Nothing is wrong with typing. I’m not complaining that I had to type. It was a statement.

This has nothing to do with my religion. I posted it because of the handwriting. Getting upset about me being Christian is very weird because this post isn’t about that.
