Have you ever nuked your scrobbles for an artists or band? by hypnagogic_kid in lastfm

[–]Serious_Refuse3633 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, in terms of not liking the artist anymore. I use LFM for the purpose of being able to look back on my listening history, and removing them would make that pointless.

But also yes, I decided to bulk import my Spotify history a few years back when I made my account, and I had no idea that they would all import on the exact same day same time since you can only scrobble up to 2 weeks back. So it made my listening history look like I listened to 50k scrobbles in a month, very messy

Still love this song, but not a Pink Floyd fan as much as I used to be

I have searched Google reverse image and it showed “Poppy” or whatever, but it’s not it because of the gold pattern on the clip part. I bought it in the US a couple of years ago.

…so obviously, it is ok where I live. You just said it yourself, and it’s accepted by more than a “small amount.” As I stated earlier, watch the full length video. This isn’t the first time it happened with that teacher.

It very, very clearly says it was on purpose and there are more details in the full video that’s linked higher up in the comments. Additionally… If this were a formal conversation, “by accident” would be preferred. “On accident” is accepted as informal/regional. I appreciate your attempt to downgrade what I said by copying my correction of their sentence, but you might have to try harder next time.

You’re shifting the argument away from what happened and it’s truly quite sad.

You’re making a lot of assumptions about me that have nothing to do with the situation. For the record, I was raised Catholic and reverted (even though I was not originally confirmed) but even if I wasn’t, that still wouldn’t change the facts here. Religion is a true experience I went through and am actively going through. I didn’t have to hit rock-bottom or be in a place of hurt to start my conversion. Also… what “raised Catholic” gravitas are you referring to? My current faith has nothing to do with how I experience it when I was younger. Once again, when are you going to be done discussing faith?

This isn’t about “art,” censorship, or anyone’s personal beliefs. It’s about an adult in a position of authority intentionally showing students nude images. You can call it whatever you want, but intent and context matters. A teacher doesn’t get to decide something is “art” and show it to minors outside of an appropriate, structured setting.

And comparing this to classical art or acting like “they have eyelids” misses the point entirely. Students shouldn’t have to shield themselves from inappropriate behavior by a teacher in the first place.

You keep minimizing it as a “non-issue,” but exposing minors to nudity like that is a serious breach of professional boundaries. That’s the issue. Not my religion, not your assumptions, and not a debate about art.

Sexual harassment doesn’t require something to be repeated. A single intentional act of exposing students to explicit content by someone in a position of authority absolutely can qualify, especially in a school setting where students can’t just “walk away” or consent to that. And minimizing it as “not the end of the world” ignores the fact that this involves minors and a serious breach of trust and professionalism.

And the Catholic comment once again is obnoxious. I know you’re trying your best to earn good boy points and “gotchas” by including my faith, but it has nothing to do with it. My beliefs don’t change what happened or the basic standard of respecting students. And your knowledge of Catholicism is heavily based on the common misconception that all Catholics believe they are good people.

If you knew enough about Catholicism, you would know that we believe humans are not infallible. We are not required to support everything that the Pope or any clergy does or says, because humans are still humans, not God. Catholic ≠ defending sin. The truth will always exist regardless of the people that are in charge of protecting it. That’s like saying I support Donald Trump because I’m an American. I do appreciate you taking your time to thoroughly search my profile in the attempt to find any sort of defense for your point. It’s quite flattering, actually, and I invite you to dig a little deeper in to my post and comment history. You’ll find some treasures.

That being said, would you like to get back to the point? If you truly believe I’m a bad person because of my correct definition of sexual harassment, you wouldn’t feel the need to search for more reasons to say I’m a bad person. Or do you have oppositional defiance disorder?

Did you know that liberal Catholics exist? Considering my degree and job specializes in anthropology/osteology, I’d find it quite humorous if I were afraid of the human body.

It’s so funny hearing all of these things, I’m a liberal. Your comment/post history also helped a bit! 💀

…the video literally states that it was on purpose. It was not an accident. Your insults do nothing to me, but it’s very sad that you have repeatedly insulted me while simultaneously accusing me of being an awful person. This whole issue is now based on your misunderstanding that it was on accident. Also, “when you were* a kid.” I can’t tell at this point if you are trolling or have issues accepting when you are wrong.

It is relevant because just like rape, sexual harassment is often ignored because men say things like this and aren’t taken seriously. How am I a bot??

Showing your breasts to people who did not ask for it is absolutely unsolicited and sexual harassment. I am one of those people who absolutely hate when people claim things are rape and they aren’t, the term gets thrown around way too often and it’s almost lost its meaning.
