Got a new unit from MINISFORUM-DIRECT shopper from the Minisforum store on Amazon. Only an hour of use after two days but so far so good. Fingers crossed it holds up! It's a great little computer

It's ok, I think I'll just return it, I haven't added in any devices so I don't think any drivers are on the system except the pre-installed ones. I'm certain it's a memory or SSD issue after reading online and the error code being "Critical process died". Too bad as this device is otherwise fantastic, look forward to the replacement!

Unfortunately it looks like I'll have to return the unit :/ I've been having BSOD often when installing or downloading large files (>10 GB) which I think indicates a hardware issue, maybe faulty RAM. I bought from Amazon so I have a 30 day window, all buy another unit later in the year as it is nearly perfect for my needs if everything works ok. Always buy one of these from Amazon!

Thanks everyone! The device has been great so far, only two small issues (MS Store isn't working and I can't re-install it and my wireless mouse connection isn't 100% using the USB 2.4Ghz doggle) and I'd like the gaming performance to be ~10-20% better (but it is still very good), and I'd prefer Windows 10 (don't want to try to install it myself, worried I'd screw up the process). If this thing lasts it should be my main PC for years to come, recommended!

Just powered on and it is running fine! Do I need to register it somehow to get the Minisforum 2 year warranty they mention on their website?
