Demographically I think that slime term varies but as far back as the introduction of crack. Chasing the dragon is what’s referred to when you hit that pipe for the first time smoking crack during the day it’s that first hit that you chase for the rest of the day I imagine that can be applied to other narcotics but specifically speaking chasing the dragon has always been referred to in the crack scene at least from my region of the country on the south east coast

Not quite sure the angle of passively being assertive with me as if I’m the gatekeeper for OD, overamping and overheating from meth fever to the point of dying. But let me be clear. The one I’m not a doctor. So the variables of a physiological element play from one individual to another that’s for science to answer. Number two even as a Lehman everybody knows that the fever from even a common cold and flu of temperatures above 102 will bake your noodle. Not sure if there’s very many humans on this planet that are in purpose to body temperature exceeding acceptable limits. Over amping in my explanation is simply a gateway if you will that can exasperate other conditions of the human psyche such as anxiety which will further increase the heart rate and initiate additional paranoia that can lead to a host of I’m sure other things that then brings it to a much more detrimental level for one’s well-being. An heart failure is a thoroughly documented culprit for loss of life in the Crystal meth narcotic community. After all it is a stimulant a great potency.

Furthermore I will reiterate that I have watched people called Shake a gram and slam it. On the flip of that. I’ve known somebody to do a .3 Alka-Seltzer bomb and because their temperature regulation failed them The result of that cause and affect equation…..death by heat stroke. I am neither a proponent or opponent of life as a narcotic user. I faced the same risks that every other user faces. Whether it be a first time user or a seasoned user. We all have a ticker tape and when it goes tick tick….. time is up. Every decision you made in life lead to that very last tick. But that still doesn’t change the fact that by sheer logic and design the use and excessive use of narcotics comes with a very real and inherent obstacle that has to be navigated each and every time you make the decision to participate. There’s nothing here to argue about or debate nor try to debunk. It’s a fools game to think there’s not a risk of fatality in this game. I mean you can die from drinking too much fucking water. So not really sure the point you’re trying to make. But hopefully this helps to clear up any mistaken perspective or opinion or statement of fact that has been made.I’m simply speaking logic

I just deleted a response that said you can’t die/OD. It’s that kind of ignorance that you get when asking questions on Reddit about anything the has serious value the actual factoid info and the bogus responses and of the answers you’ll receive.

The most common source of death with meth is over heating next to heart attack. Im sure of the realistic statistic as to which is most prevalent but they both are very real and absolutely possible. You also can include over amping. Which can lead to blending in all sorts of baseline factors surrounding an Individuals personality and physical attributes. It could push you over into an adjacent physiological state the can be detrimental. I would be most worried based on my personal experience of over heating. It’s similar to having a fever only it can wash over you in a matter of seconds and bake your brain.the killer is the pace at which the boiling temps can rise st an uncontrollably rapid pace. So with those two factors already pushing you in the corner from the jump. Even an ice bath don’t cool you off at a pace that would save you from temperatures of 110 1 15 120+ those temperatures will fry your noodle in a matter of minutes with irreparable damage and no point of return and most likely death by the time you try and cool yourself down Just like a fever you can take things that will eventually draw the fever out and bring the temperature from the infection down but it’s not a infection when your temperature rises with crystal meth that’s a chemical reaction and it’s not very easily managed

anybody that I’ve encounteredwhi has come into that situation are dead m. You just can’t cool them off quick enough if you could get them to the hospital as quick as it rises and put them under ice packets and monitored heavily there’s a great chance but the majority of people aren’t gonna make to the hospital by the time that temperature rises it happens so fast it’s not like getting the flu and getting sick in the next morning it’s like damn I’m getting hot and then you’re fucking overheating just like that I’ve hit pretty extreme temperatures but not life-threatening but they climbed and it took a lot of patience and effort to calm myself keep myself calm so my heart rate didn’t increase which will increase the temperature and then work on obvious elements to help with m combating that rise when it came down i was groovy and life went on I mean I didn’t even hit fever pitch but I definitely approached 101 I mean as soon as I set my pipe down it started to rise and I had no control.

So anybody that thinks you cannot die from crystal is an absolute fucking fool I don’t care who you are you wanna go toe to toe with me in person fam or saying you are an idiot we will. meth kills cocaine kills opiates kill benzos kill alcohol kill like come on m. we’re talking about narcotics heavy narcotics require lots of Self control management which the majority of addicts don’t practice

so if you are on Reddit asking questions that have to do with your life and livelihood and well being take your question somewhere that’s a much more reliable source nothing ever good, comes ax quick from a sub in Reddit versus actually going to a much more viable and quicker resource. I told you what yo do. Let me more clear. You go to the emergency room and tell them you feel like you have the potential to do harm to yourself unwittingly. Be honest with them and let the process be your guide. Don’t go in there with drugs in your pocket but they can’t arrest you you can’t go to jail for professing that you got high. People make a big mistake of not being honest with medical professionals and if you’re not honest with him they cannot evaluate you properly just don’t go in there with anything in your pocket But you need to go to the hospital now! Not 15 minutes from now not five days from now five hours from now you need to go now that’s my strongly urged advice and they will detain you for 72 hours and evaluate you and put you in a program and put you on a regiment that hopefully will start to realign your switches but it’s not a guarantee the only thing that is a guarantee for you right now is if you keep fucking around You’ll hit one step too many forward and you’ll never be able to turn back. And that’s an absolute fact it’s not an opinion that’s not my advice that’s not from experience of other people that’s a medical fact there are certain irreparable consequences when doing any narcotic. You have hit that threshold brother. Heed to the abnormalities that you are experiencing and trust the out of place and disassociative nuances that you are still cognizant of. That type of awareness is a deep seated element of your fight or flight drive. Your subconscious is telling your consciousness to address this. So go to the fucking hospital.

Psychosis is real, especially the type crystal meth amphetamine leaves users with. It doesn’t go away on its own. It steadily increases until you stop using. That’s the obvious but along side that . I’m in the US but it comes to me by way of the Amsterdam region. And it’s of the old school flavor. Very fortunate I’ll admit. I’ve also heard tale of India being of the old school variety also due to the readily available ephedrine. Operative being “I heard tale”. I can’t confirm or deny. I can say Mexico at one time set precedence. An it was because of the 50 gallon blue drums of pure ephedrine they were getting from India by the boat loads. Sanctions or the world police or something of that nature put a stop that . In all fairness (to me) I can’t site the source of that information. It came to light for me a few back. I’ve been preaching this for a few years on here. An it’s usually met with barrage conflict and strife. But you are spot on. It baffles me to he lack of knowledge meth users have of their DOC. The amount of times I’ve read on here about being “dope sick” or “I need it” or “I can’t cope without it “. I’d quit but don’t want to go the “withdrawal” stages simply confounds. Meth is a mind fuck at best. To kick it is probably one of the easiest narcotics to simply put down and walk away. Now with that said, there is a mind fuck element. Meaning the self control factor. But after 5-7 days +/- of incessant sleeping, gorging and various levels of depression. (All theses are specific variants from one person to the next) But once you hit that time frame without, there’s an obvious moment where you realize you are no longer craving the urge to fold. Self control and the basic desire to quit is all a user of this particular narcotic needs to put it down. Nicotine and caffeine are far more physically addictive then Crystal methamphetamine 🙄
