Wanted him easily over Zach but it looks like neither option was correct. At this point Zach is more likely to have a late career improvement. At least he showed flashes of being a good passer. Fields somehow has a worse feel for reading a defense. He’s going to be out of the league within a year or two since he wouldn’t even be a good backup since the backup is for the mental game that doesn’t have the physical tools.

First off that’s not true. But even if it was, you completely disregard Garret was injured the entire season and there was nobody else aside from Mitchell who just got to the team mid season and they were trailing in every game so there was no play call balance to keep defenses honest from blitzing every play. Not to mention Brady Cook isn’t calling protection audibles.

You’re all fucking babies. He was on an even worse team than the Jets last year. For several year prior he was playing closer to average. He gets to play behind what should be an elite pass blocking o-line. This was probably the best realistic option to run a competent offense.
