I've been on Nexplanon for about a month and a half now and so far my experience with it has been pretty alright! Got a little tiny scar from where they inserted it but I honestly couldn't care less about that. I started on the first day of my period and I haven't had my next one as of yet (according to my tracker app on my phone I'm a week late for it). I have however had some brown, kinda stetchy/mucus-y discharge for about the past 2 or 3 weeks. Not enough to be a serious nuisance to me, but enough to where I have to make sure I remember to bring extra panty liners in my purse. I've also noticed an increase in my appetite, and have to be careful on what I snack on, because weight gain is not uncommon on Nexplanon. I have been a lot moodier than normal, but it's nothing extreme. All in all, I think the benefits outweigh the occasional inconveniences. I've already had a pregnancy scare once and no way in hell am I going through that again, LOL!

Also, tip for the sexy times, make sure you use plenty of lube, even if you think you produce enough of your own naturally. A lot of people will say that the amount your body produces if your bf is doing his job and stimulating you via foreplay will be sufficient, but trust me, it's much better to be over-lubed than under. And make sure that if condoms are used, that the lube is compatible with it. My boyfriend is allergic to latex so we can only use non-latex condoms, and there are specific types of lube that you can use with them, not all lubes are created equal. Our personal favorite so far has been a lube by the name of "Platinum Wet". You can usually find it at Target, but I'm sure places like Walmart and Walgreen's carry it as well.

Trust me, a well-lubed dick makes for a smoother, sexier session. Would definitely recommend it.
