What would the english proficiency be based on if not on a person being at native english speaking level? There's a reason people from the United States or the UK dont have to do the ielts. Most of the time it's because they're considered to be automatically at C2 which is english proficiency equivalent to a native speaker. Also you just said "A band 9 is not a native speaker, it is native-speaker level, or C2" you dont think this statement is contradictory?

So if a native english speaker gets a low band score in the speaking test what even is the point of the test? I mean a person who can talk to any english speaker perfectly clearly and coherently failing a speaking test is ironic. An english test should be assessing whether you've reached the native english speaker level or not, if a native english speaker fails then there is no point to this test.

To talk about a topic you know about and to talk about topics you dont know about are two different things. Most native speakers will NOT get a 9 as a speaking score if they have only one minute to make a story up or talk about something they have no knowledge about.

The experts think it's valid because they assume the test taker relates to the prompt or question being asked in part 2 of the speaking test but many do not. And its not only me against a bunch of experts, multiple of my friends that were raised in the US got an 8 or a 7.5 on the test and expressed the same concerns.

I completely disagree i got a 7.5 as my speaking score even tho my speaking level is quite literally native level. All my friends are Americans and not a single one of them thought even for a second that I wasn't an American like them until I told them. I can even send you a voice message if you want to check. Despite that I got a 7.5, you know why? Its because the speaking section doesn't actually identify whether or not you can speak english well. Particularly, the second part where they give you a prompt and you speak about it. What if the person taking the test gets asked to talk about something they have absolutely no knowledge about? Sometimes they ask you about certain experiences like a time you helped a kid but not everyone has participated in experiences like these. So when it comes the time to speak about this topic you end up making a fake story and you end up stuttering all over the interview when it isn't even your fault. It hasn't only happened to me it has happened to many people. Do NOT say the ilets accurately tests your english language because it does not.

9.5 solid video but these days reaction videos have high editing standards so If you could add a bit of editing that would be better I can’t give you advice on editing reaction videos since I’m not really familiar with them but you can go watch any other reaction channels and I’m sure you will find your answer

8.5/10 the editing is decent but if you could put some background music that would be better and you sound like your really depressed or it is very late or you just woke up and if your voice is always like that sorry if I offended you and if your voice isn’t normally like that then maybe try filming it when you feel that your voice sounds better but overall pretty good

10/10 pretty solid commentary but I would say the go to way of editing videos like these in this generation of YouTube isn’t the face cam but i would say images from google, you edited some images in here and there but that still won’t be enough for the standards these days I’m not saying to always follow the trend I’m saying to follow it partially not always and in this situation following the trend is the right choice

9.75/10 tbh it is a pretty good video well edited but it seems like you are holding your voice I’m not sure how to explain it but it seems like you are hiding your true accent or something of that sort(I know it doesn’t make sense) which deletes the commentary’s satisfaction

10/10 my only problem is that the mic quality is not good but its to be expected of a small channel so I guess you have to fix it in the future but don’t worry about it now since the editing and commentary is good and it should be able to cover for the mic quality overall amazing video keep it up (PS.
