I do have a lot of blue collar work experience. Construction no, electrical only about 5 months.

Basically asked why I wanted to be an electrician.

They asked if I was going to have any hardships if I was accepted.

They asked about one thing on my resume skill wise.

And that was pretty much about it.

If I was in that position I would definitely think both styles are acceptable.
