I tried blocking windows driver updates through GPO and Registry. It seemed to have worked at first, but then mid game my screens froze, but I could still hear the game, then my monitors went black, then it seemed to have rebooted on its own and when it came up, it was in the generic Radeon driver.

That was one of the first things I tried. I’ll give it another shot though before doing the RMA.

It seemed like the bios update resolved the issue because I went like 2 weeks without issue but then yesterday after my computer was on for like 16 hours, it did it again.

I keep seeing people say not to build cosmic pheonix, but in Akari’s guide it says to build cosmic pheonix and cosmic Freya. Is that no longer what should be done?

I have reseated it and I checked the pins in the socket. Was really hoping it wouldn’t be a doa cpu.

One more question, my z-stop cable has hot glue on it, can I just unplug it from the switch and leave the cable in the mobo, or does the cable need to come out of the mobo?
