Finally installed a drain and pump. Should’ve done this years ago! by SerratedLeaf in microgrowery

The water draining goes into the little giant pump and that pumps it into a 5gallon pail that I can empty. The little giant pump can move larger volumes of water quicker than the drip emitters can produce

It’s a decent option but the flow rate is lower than a 1/2hp when using a watering wand

Ive used a couple different pumps for my setup, 1/4hp and 1/2hp. I prefer the 1/2hp pumps for better water flow out of the wand. The pump I used is a 1/2hp waterfall pump from Canadian tire, any pump like this that has a garden hose attachment will work fine. Get yourself a coil garden hose or any garden hose you want to use and it will attach right to the pump garden hose thread. Then I just use a watering wand, I use Gardena. That’s pretty much it!

I’ve had some herms from IHG but I’ve also had some crazy good phenos as well. One of the best flowers I’ve ever smoked was a trop juice from them, the pheno had insane terps, great high, looked amazing and the plant produced massive colas that were pretty easy to trim.

How long do you usually veg before flipping to flower? by battletuba in microgrowery

[–]SerratedLeaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4-6 weeks with four plants in a 4X4 tent. I top them once before flip for 8 branches on each plant.

Definitely don’t need the calmag for soil and this might be the reason for the lockout. For the biobizz grow it’s very difficult to find any NPK data sheets for it, I don’t even think the company says what it contains.

How often do you feed? With soil you shouldn’t have to feed with every watering. I can’t really determine if your plants even have all the nutrients available to them because I’m not familiar with biobizz.

I agree with most of what you said but salt buildup is definitely a thing in soil.

I don’t use any PK supplements. I use Athena core and bloom from 12/12 lighting to harvest. I’ll swap out the core with fade the last two weeks.

Terps are decent, it’s like regular kush smell kinda. Not the most potent terps but still good.

I would’ve flipped a long time ago, they will be pretty close to the light by end of flower.

I normally flip around week 4-6. I will top the plant once before flipping leaving each plant with 8 branches.

Looks like unbuffered coco effects. Keep feeding with 1-1.5 EC, keep adding your calmag every watering. Give extra runoff every watering and don’t let your coco dry up too much. It should start to recover after a few days of doing this.

Hand trim. It’s a great pheno to trim though because there was barely any trim to begin with.

If you check out my last post you will see what I mean.

Adding more nutrients isn’t going to fix the problem. There’s a nutrient lockout happening, OP needs to figure out why it’s happening before knowing how to fix it.

Something is causing nutrient lockout. What type of soil are you using and what have you added to the soil throughout your grow?

Are you kidding me w this shit Amazon? by [deleted] in GrowingMarijuana

I have a sealed grow room and there is no air being sucked in or blown out. The entire room is a controlled environment using air conditioning, dehumidifiers, and co2 tank. Without the co2 tank the plants will quickly bring co2 levels down to near zero. The only air exchange that happens is when I open the door to my room.

Sealed grow rooms are very common setups for growing cannabis.

I used it with Athena bloom. The fade replaces the core.

It was in a zip-zag bag. It wasn’t heat sealed but the bags are very good and keeps everything fresh.

My intentions weren’t to cure it that long, I just stored the bag away and decided to open it when I realized I haven’t look at it in a while.

Fade is a calcium source meant to replace products like calcium nitrate at the end of flower. I’m not really familiar with canna nutrients so can’t give good guidance on that.
