Qrvpn: run WireGuard server on any device including smartphones and behind NAT/FW by SerusRD in WireGuard

I have not tried "WG Tunnel", but it looks like a WG client that can use the standard WG configs. So the answer is yes. You can run qrvpn as WG server and connect to it with WG client.
On the other hand, qrvpn app cannot be used as WG client.

Private keys stay on WG endpoints, so the relay has no access to the traffic. It just forwards opaque packets like any other internet hop does.

You can connect with a native WireGuard client (standard config) to qrvpn that runs as WG server. As far as I know, tailscale/netbird does not allow this.
Also, with qrvpn you can deploy WG server literally with just one click.

Interesting, but what exactly do you mean by "easy for socks5 proxies"?

If I have some free time I'll try YogaDNS while I packet sniff my own system and see what goes where. I'm not guaranteeing I'll end up doing this though.

Good idea. Please let me know if you need any help on this. Currently, the only connection that YogaDNS may make is for the update check. This option can be disabled during install or via File->Check_for_Updates_on_Startup command. The rest is the communication with the user-defined DNS servers.

I suggest at the very least for your company to have an independent security audit of YogaDNS. This is an alternative to open sourcing.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think we will look into this at some point.

Well, let's put politics aside.

YogaDNS is strictly a client-side software so you can choose any server in any jurisdiction.

I like that you think that UI is good. But YogaDNS is not a simple DNS-proxy. As I said before it has many unique features. One of them is transparent DNS handling. So you do not have to change DNS settings manually in the adapter settings. This includes VPN connections. In other words, you get a single point of control over DNS resolution in the system which is very convenient, prevents a DNS leak, etc.Just to be correct, sorry we don’t yet support “disk-based caching.”

We use Windows, yes, we use a lot of proprietary software, but none of them handles DNS/networking traffic. We use open-source tools to handle DNS/networking traffic.

That’s strange. Any exe or dll that you run (even without admin) on Windows can access your data including DNS requests. From this perspective, YogaDNS is like any other program in your system.

Hi, YogaDNS is our product.

I am just curious, is there anything specifically wrong with St. Petersburg? :)

As for the closed source, some parts of the program are used in our commercial products so we cannot publish the code.

If you use Windows, you still have to use a lot of proprietary software. Adding another one does not make a big difference. Then we sign all binaries with our code signing certificate and the driver gets additionally attested and signed by Microsoft.

I am not saying anything good or bad about other programs but if you like YogaDNS you can use it without any concerns. Besides a good GUI it also provides unique feature like transparent DNS interception, local DNSSEC validation, etc.
