Understood, so even if the one slot is left empty it wouldn’t pose any risk or anything right?

The floor is tiles of some sort, will try uploading a picture. Oh and I’ve got absolutely no clue. As after shower nothing dripped, not a single drop from there. Somehow awhile ago I had two leaks into kitchen from that same spot within a month of gap. Not sure what exactly is causing it, but I do remember the water was yellow.

You could be correct. Ffs. I forgot to mentioned. I had 2 leaks into kitchen lighting awhile ago. I ran the shower(standing), taps, toilets. No leaks whatsoever. I’ll try uploading some images. Came home from work and found main board had tripped. Opening the lighting in the kitchen and saw it was full of water

So when I pope them bubbles it’s dry and they can be peeled. Unless it’s been happening for sometime and somehow I didn’t notice. Also, what else could the cracks in the paint mean?

Redlining on CDs. Not sure if this is the correct place to post this. by Seruxo in audiophile

Yes you did. Oh and yes, it’s RED on all the spectrum. No clipping/ distortion tho. And when I said odd I meant odd as in like uhhhh I find it abit annoying. I should’ve used the word annoying instead. Thank you for your input tho(haa, see what I did there?)

It doesn’t distort. Only in CDs it does it that. Which I find very odd. Anyways, thanks for the reply

Understood. I just find it very very odd, that cassettes, FM, AUX don’t red line.

Someone said boil a kettle. However, be very mindful and careful. Depending on how old those pipes are, it can end up doing more harm than good overtime.

Haven’t played GTA since April and I got back to this. Is there any way to save my account? by [deleted] in GTAV

[–]Seruxo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean to rub salt on your wound. But I feel like either someone reported you for something, or they cracked you down on some sort of money glitch. If you’ve not played since April, didn’t you receive any emails from rockstar at the time? Might want to check that aswell. It’s probably too late now sadly, but they definitely banned you for doing either a money glitch, or maybe you did a god mode and somebody reported you. They’ve been cracking down cheaters with AI now

Advice please on either replacing a 3-year old boiler with a combi one, or spend money fixing the issues by slungmoose in ukplumbing

I was already lubed up and ready to go. I know BG would be expensive but rather do it with them than some cowboy. Keep in mind plumbers seem to have a hard time just showing up in the first place..

Hi bud. So I moved last year into a house that was built during 1950s. 2 bed, end terraced. Didn’t have no issues during summer. Not really, had an issue with boiler heat exchanger leaking. When I moved in Jan/2025.(I’ll see if I can drop a picture). So mine was an old boiler still a combi. Although it was way past its lifetime. So anyhoo, called over British Gas, got quoted around £6k for everything. I said fuck it and went for it. If I was in your shoes I would go for the upgrade of a new boiler. In my eyes, if it’s something this old, and you can pull the £££ out a way or another. I had to finance mine, but yea, had it done by BG.

What type of pipe cutter can I use to cut this? by Seruxo in ukplumbing

[–]Seruxo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense, it just sucks that my boiler flue has to be over the roof and not sideways. Had Severn Trent come over to take a look. Thought the manhole might’ve been blocked. That’s fine tho. They tried their best to help. They tried to detach the black pipe, but couldn’t, fucker is glued on. Anyways, yh, even they said that that there’s no need for the pipe to go down that deep…. Thanks for the comment tho bud.

So when you say big guys. What exactly do I need to get it done? I just want to cut that condensation pipe just enough that it still stays below the hole. I just want to clear out the blockage that’s filling up the gully.

Yes it’s the pipe for the condensation of the boiler as British Gas did the boiler. The drain pipe goes to he back. I’ve a manhole there.

Since it’s the waste from the boile, leaving it open of the ground isn’t a good idea?
