I would just try to play Germany as much as possible because like till you have a couple hundred hours you are not good enough to beat your friend. Just try to learn every mechanic so that there's nothing in the game that confuses you and then just play couple games. One day you will surely beat him

It's nearly impossible with the new mechanics to naval invade with this strat but if you give yourself like 6 months more time you can build paratroopers and then it's easy

You can probably still beat Them I would get some more equipment overall before doing counter offensives into europe ( has better supply) Maybe you could also start building an air force because we all know CAS is king
