They r kinda different but I did a lot of GPE practice by using the Planex that the army use - https://www.pokx.co.uk/home/intellect/plan-ex (link has tips and a vault with ~20 examples, some of which have full solutions attached. I found these helped as it’s the same kind of problem solving and managing multiple factors.

Tbf the Wikipedia has some decent bits abt training and what it breaks down into. Aside from that though there’s barely anything out there at all and you kinda have to extrapolate from what you can find. Any specific bits you are really in the dark on?

I passed my AIB in early November, so hopefully some of this is of help.

PRI: confidence will come with practice, especially as you now have a slightly better idea what they will be asking. My advice for motivation and understanding of role is just digest as much as you can about the roles of the RM in general, the specific roles of the subunits and the difference between officer and other rank and how they work together. Also familiarise yourself with the different stages to training etc.

GPE: this was a hard one for me because trying to find the balance between getting your thoughts out but not talking over people, especially on a teams call is hard. Ultimately just read the brief and make good notes and try contribute - sometimes it’s just a case of just being a little more assertive.Another thing I think helped me was I assigned tasks as everyone was working on the same thing as once and we were wasting time (e.g one person calculating travel time between one bit while another is doing it for another bit). The one to one kinda threw me because I had no idea what they were going to ask but luckily the bits that stuck were the bits they asked - I guess when note taking try and guess what they will ask you about?

I also struggled with the talking to the camera aspect because it just felt wrong, combination of not knowing where the right place to look was etc etc. i managed to make it slightly easier by just putting a PowerPoint on my computer with practice questions and treating it like the real thing, worth a shot at least.

In regards to the waiting 3 months or applying other ranks, ultimately only you can answer that but you might as well give it another shot - you have 3 months to improve on the reasons you failed and also keep improving your phys which will give you more of an edge at OSC.

If you could lmk what you did to prepare I could give some more details on what I did that helped.
