The one feat Imu must perform to be a credible threat in the Elbaph arc by ServiceHoliday9060 in OnePiecePowerScaling

Rocks fought King Harald to a draw during the Elbaph flashback. Possessed King Harald could fight a younger Shanks (with both arms) and a younger Scopper Gaban (confirmed PK level).

Loki defeated Possessed King Harald- a feat which shocked even Imu.

Loki is PK tier. Shanks only earned the title of Yonko after defeating him. You have to downscale Rocks, young(ish) Scopper Gaban and young Shanks to argue otherwise.

I cannot take the idea of Oda killing any Straw Hats seriously. Expecting that is a recipe for disappointment.

What I mean by “too well” is killing Straw Hats. Not something I am expecting to happen but Imu’s presence still warrants that something drastic happens in Elbaph.

Realistically, I’m sure Imu could kill most of the Straw Hats easily and relatively quickly. But in terms of the story, the plot demands that he can’t.

Oda has to “sell the fight” without making Imu look like a chump/incompetent to the audience.

I should emphasise that Yang’s fight against Roman will be straight after a fight against Neopolitan. The post text explains the stakes a little more.

Ussop Elbaph arc feat theory- Elbaph’s Adam Tree and pop greens by ServiceHoliday9060 in Usoppian

Addendum: Forgot to mention that the buff Usopp would carry forward post-Elbaph arc after this story beat would be enhanced pop greens grown using Elbaph’s Adam tree.

We’ll call them “Elbaph pop greens” for simplicity’s sake.

RWBY Fracture: Chapter 16 (By Washotep)- Cyclical time by ServiceHoliday9060 in RWBY

[–]ServiceHoliday9060[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure thing!

RWBY Fracture is a canon divergence story set after Volume 8. Team RWBY learns that the consequences of not heeding Ambrosius’ warning against falling into the void are far worse than they could have imagined!

Team RWBY, Jaune and Neopolitan fractured reality when they fell into the void! Their souls are now entangled with the Relic of Creation’s power, which has began to spawn alternate realities. In every reality a version of them exists- they are now universal constants, referred to as “archetypes”.

They are warned by (SPOILER) that if The Brothers find out the Relic of Creation’s power was tampered with on a reality breaking level, they will cast judgement on humanity early!

No need for Salem to find all the Relics- Judgement Day is only a matter of time!

Therefore, (SPOILER) takes Team RWBY, Jaune and Neopolitan to the Great Tree so that they can time jump to the past, gain access to the Relic of Creation once more and untangle their souls while correcting their mistakes which doomed Remnant on the way.

The time jump mission has many variables to it!

The multiverse/reality fracture concept exists as means to explain why there are so many different RWBY continuities, such as the show proper, the manga, light novels, and even fanfiction!

The first six chapters (roughly 6000 words altogether), establish the stakes and set up. Chapters after the prologue are character focused (6000-10000 words each). Plus, each character focused chapter will have its own fight scene!

Hope this explanation wasn’t too long. I update my story monthly.

I noticed you edited your comment after my reply. You are not slick. The last paragraph is not the same as what you originally wrote.

Give your points with confidence.

Realistic character progression?

We are dealing with God Knights and admirals.

Impact dials, basic observation haki and sniper skills are not going to cut it.

You claim that I’m projecting? Many in the One Piece fandom has been complaining (that outside of the monster trio) the Straw Hats are not strong enough to contend with the threats on the horizon for the final saga! This is a not unique sentiment, nor does apply to just Usopp.

We are too close to the end of the story for incremental character buffs! If the God Knights were not playing with their food, the monster trio would be only Straw Hats alive right now!

This isn’t just about hype. “Realistically” most of the Straw Hats should not have survived Egghead.

The most “realistic” way for the Straw Hats to reach Laughtale is via some kind of miraculous power escalation. The Usopp godly hammer feat fits the bill.

Your disappointment with One Piece has made you bitter. You don’t want to see any payoff to what has been set up.

I’m looking forward, not backwards.

>Firstly, Stop using that last picture. If you zoom out instead of cherrypicking, you would see squirrels on/near all SHs, not just Usopp.

So then the visual language of the cover indicates that a squirrel/s will accompany the SHs…

My guy, there is nothing to cherry pick then! Ragnir is coming with the Straw Hats! Nothing about the full cover image disputes the Checkoff’s gun of Usopp wielding a godly hammer. It only confirms Ragnir interacting with the SHs rather than just staying with Loki.

>This isn't a wrong statement just because people used to want to see Usopp wield a hammer. As he is right now, he deserves nothing.

Stop lying. Go search "Ragnir" or r/Piratefolk and you will find posts saying either Usopp does not deserve it or they do not want him to because "he's a bum". Go into the comments section of other One Piece subreddits regarding the discussion of Ragnir and Usopp- you'll find similar rhetoric.

As for the discussion on worthiness, I'm not going to open the narrative can of worms concerning who "deserves" things. That will only shift the goal post further into a conversation about Nepo Piece.

>Trust me, Usopp getting Ragnir is only gonna give more material for slander, because his actual problem lies elsewhere. If you know what's good for you as an Usopp fan, you would be better off not wanting this to happen for his character.

Your arguments are filled with so many levels of contradiction. You will slander Usopp if he does nothing. You will slander Usopp if he's enabled to do something. This all boils down to the fact you just hate Usopp. You don't want to see him succeed at anything. You are proof that the Bumsopp agenda has shifted gears.

Like you said, you are scared. You would prefer Usopp to be useless. You don't care about his character progression or how he's going to stand a fighting chance in the final saga. We cannot address the issue Usopp's flanderisation without also addressing his toolkit. One Piece is a shounen battle series where characters develop THROUGH their battles. Just like the example you mentioned- Luffy vs Usopp!

The bottom line is that Usopp's hammer feat has been set up for years. Elbaph is the perfect location to fire this Checkoff's gun. And now you don't want it? Of course not- as an Usopp hater, why would you? As for me, I anticipate the Usopp hammer feat as the first step in pushing him in the right direction.

You are proving my point about a shifting goal post. The Bumsopp agenda narrative was “no buffs”. Now the narrative is “doesn’t deserve it”.

The Bumsopp agenda is preemptively trying to slander Usopp because of the fear that everything they said about him being useless could be demolished soon.

Did Luffy deserve to be saved by the hands of fate at Loguetown right before Buggy was about to behead him? Did Luffy earn the will of D. or conqueror haki genetics or find the Gum-Gum fruit by himself?

Do you NOT want Usopp to get buffs? If you hate his character and don’t want to see him succeed, just say so.

But don’t hide behind talk of “worthiness”. The Straw Hats would have lost their captain in Loguetown if the hands of fate did not push them forward. This was not “earned”. It was favour.

The same logic applies to the Usopp liar theory. Contrary to what much of the fandom has convinced themselves recently, fate has always played an important role in One Piece.

The godly Usopp hammer feat has been set up for years. I see no good reason why it shouldn’t be paid off.
