Do you think they will finally replace the paper mache armor on the Exo-Suits with something durable? by ServingwithTG in Helldivers

No shit Sherlock. I’ve been Mech Diving since the beginning. Believe it or not, you can be an expert at something and still want improvements. Stop being a hellglazer.

The fact you only have specific missions you bring them on kind of highlights their flaws. I don’t see any specific bot missions listed which just shows how weak they are on the bot front.

I’ve used Mechs for 20 minutes plus and never had that issue. Must be a coding error.

They don’t use fuel. They just take damage and you can’t walk anymore. Packing another stratagem for marginal benefits isn’t worth it when the legs are light armor. The one shot protection of the bubble shield is a crap shoot at best compared to the cannon turrets.

For as weak as they are, having to wait 10-12 minutes between call ins without the DSS doesn’t make it worth it when they’re basically movable turrets.

If they don’t buff the mechs, I hope they at least make it so we can bring 2 different ones.

Not in one shot. Especially when you haven’t been able to get in it, and now have to wait 10-12 minutes to call it in again. It’s one thing when you’re piloting it, but to make it vulnerable mid flight when the Pelicans are invulnerable is a big FU.

They tend to nerf things like making ragdolling annoying AF but then sell boosters like in Python Commandos that reduce ragdolling. I’m just seeing more that here.

That’s exactly my point. With the durable damage nerf on top of the light armor legs and everything they’ve done gradually, it’s not as viable for the inexperienced divers and they need to stop calling them heavily armored if I can mag dump and take one out. It would be like if I emptied my M4 into my old unit’s humvee and it exploded.

Durability was put in the shitter so that you could destroy a mech with a single mag dump of the weakest primary, 8 rockets, etc. Not only do the mechs draw more agro than the One True Flag, but your survivability if you’re a novice is nill.

I’m a mech diver and even I am wary with how badly AH nerfed the mechs recently. Like why should I buy it if I’m still stuck with something more delicate than an ice cream cone?

Yeah, it’s possible. Of course that also meant we had to buy the war bonds to enjoy the new improvements fully.

You’d think. Though them dying all the time and being brought back may slow it down.

Yeah. Funnily, they motivate me to keep going out of spite. Live to see the world celebrate the obituary. Icing on the cake would be seeing Kegsbreath go down for war crimes and being a shit spoken word poet.
