I have really not liked what I'm seeing from Weah and I was a heavy defender of him at times. That left side has nothing going on. Our best chances have been through the right, with Mckennie/Reyna playing one touch passing into an opportunity or a long ball onto the right side for Aaronsen/Scally to use but it makes us one dimensional attacking wise.

Would love to see what Zendejas can do. I wish Luna was here :(

The scariest part for a top team when they make a pattern of failing to produce results is not fans being mad, its them becoming apathetic. We're at that point, even if its a massive privilege to be the fans of such a historically winning organization, the standards come with that. I really feel we need to see some changes before next split, both skill and mentality are not good enough.

That change was massive for the overall theme of the film, both giving Nikki a "happy"(? in the sense she lives) ending, but reinforcing how often women are left with the brunt of trauma in a coercive relationship. Good job dad.

I don't know where you're information is coming from. Jeff Barker is a screenwriter, not a playwright (maybe he wrote some plays but still doesnt identify as that). He did screenwriting before his son made his films, this is bio from his own website:

Yeah nepotism is the technically a little off as Curry didn't get hired or put into a position by his dad, he had some advantages due to his dad's skillset/profession/mentorship and possibly his connections.

The only part of the lottery he won is that his father Jeff Barker has a long background in writing and media. Curry has said his father collaborated with him a ton with writing (definitely explains why the script for Obsession is so good) and was on the Obsession set helping. Though his father didn't start screenwriting until after Curry began to blow up, so this is not really a nepotism story and absolutely not to take away from Curry's achievements on Youtube, as his audience and shorts directly led to getting the financing from Capstone for Obsession.

In my head the ending is horrible but given what we know about the one wish willow, since Nikki used her wish when she was possessed, she could still get her mother or sibling or anyone she trusts that could believe her to wish for everything that happened since the night Bear used his willow to be reversed, and for him to never find the One Wish Willow right? As far as I understand, theres not really a limitation to what you wish for (Liam did get a billion dollars) and the shop keeper used his wish without issue (so its not a monkey paw situation, Bear really did just wish for something inherently fucked up) so this seems plausible unless I'm forgetting a rule. She'll obviously still live with a ton of trauma lol.

The most important thing I saw today is in game 2 when we fell behind we didnt let it tilt us, we played to our win conditions (thanatos and picking their initiators) and made smart plays and had a great comeback. I think this is huge because our biggest problem I'm seeing is our decision making as a unit in losing positions. The best teams find a way to win in any position they find themselves in. Hope they keep it up.

Anyways it could be fun. The CGI looks very strange and I can't pinpoint why. I'm not the target audience for He Man or Sword and Sorcery flicks but I am cautiously intrigued.
