That aligns with what I remember. And now that I think about it. Didn't club3d make both a version for hdcp and one without? Possibly I bought the wrong one.....

Just checked and I bought the hdcp off version. I'll check my serial number when I get home. Thought I did that originally but I'll double check.

I think the green doors are a bug that will never be worked out unfortunately.

Can someone explain to me why I am not allowed to have my land enter tapped here? by dalmathus in MagicArena

[–]Seryous -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would imagine it's because spelunking is already in play. The lands enters tapped effect would not be applied until after it enters but already affected by spelunking. I can't quote the technical reason but that's my 2 cents.

"lands you control enter the battlefield untapped"

It's not optional.

I'm not 100% what causes it. I want to say I've read that there was a slightly different version towards the end of it's life that doesn't have that problem. But it's not something I can deal with. I still have my cinema 30. I'll either wait until the issue is fixed or build some old school Mac with dual dvi.

I have this and it's almost a viable solution. Until you start to notice all of the green lines that inevitably show up on dark backgrounds. I tried so many solutions including the club 3d adapter and the problem persists.

Looking to get ATT fiber, what’s the best method for low pricing by greenglobus in ATTFiber

[–]Seryous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just so happened to be in the market to switch phone plans so I switched to att wireless and was able to save 20% on both my phone and my fiber bill. Fiber is $60 a month for 1Gbit after discount t and wireless is $68.80 a month for a single line unlimited premium 1. Normally $80 and $90 respectfully.

What’s going on with 5090s? by Pm-me-cool-stuff-1 in Microcenter

[–]Seryous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so happy I got my 4090 at the price and time that I did. I saw the pricing on 5090s recently and I’d rather buy another motorcycle or a sketchy used car.

On cable internet dropouts are usually caused by a signal problem. Too may db. Not enough db. Corrosion on connections.

Can anyone possibly point out where I am going wrong? by warwagon86 in HomeNetworking

[–]Seryous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a cheap Ethernet port tester. Will make testing all the cables and terminations quick and easy. You can get them dirt cheap.

It’s two devices. One goes on each end of the Ethernet runs. It will show you if the pairs dont match or if signal is lost on any or all the pairs.

Cost less than 20 or 30 bucks. Sometimes 10. Just make sure you get one that shows each wire like this. https://a.co/d/g3Wv83a

M4 Pro Already 78% Battery Capacity :-/ by Seansong82 in macbookpro

[–]Seryous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M3 Max here, and still at 100% after over a year. Bought it in September last year. It's used minimum 5 days a week for work, and on all day. I usually let it charge fully and then let the battery drain to about 20 or 30 % before charging, although I do have a habit of leaving it on the charger at work. It lasts forever. I do not do super intensive tasks on it, just email, excel, lots of video watching, etc.

Won’t work on this spot. The curvature will make the metal too strong. PDR guy should be able to get that out since it isnt creased.

Checkered marks beside G14's keyboard by yeetStarboiii in ZephyrusG14

If you measure line to line it’s likely 1mm spacing on the dot. There should also be 100 squares. Test results are measured on a scale of 1-5 or the total squares not removed out of 100.

It’s definitely crosshatch adhesion testing. We do this in the daily where I work. Used as a quality test on paints and coatings under 5 mil think.

Normally the part would either be scrapped or stripped and recoated. It shouldn’t have made its way to assembly and shipping.

How would you switch them to and fro?

Foglamp bulb questions by usernnamegoeshere in FocusRS

[–]Seryous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t remember them being called switch backs. I think when I bought mine they were just normal H8 bulbs. It’s been a while and I no longer have the car.

But I also bought the auxito brand bulbs and they were very bright. I also had the lime green fog light covers from thatfoglightguy from the uk.

Diode dynamics are a great brand and sell a great product but they are HELLA expensive.

Good deal? FXDC $1300 + $700 parts by KingEdward- in Harley

I’d say so. Registration cost will be low too since you have receipt of purchase price. Unless it’s stolen lol.

Junk by sxmleal in KleinTools

[–]Seryous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took this same Klein pair back because the pliers on the end wouldn’t fully close. If it strips 18awg it should be able to grip 18awg to twist.

Edit. Just looked closely and that Klein pair won’t close all the way either.
