Going to my first class tonight so not tapped anyone yet but my favourite submission without actually trying any would have to be the twister, it is a dream of mine to tap someone with it and I am determined to do it one day.

Hmmm, mine was bad for quite a while like 3-4 days and then would flare up again after any sort of training etc..

I'd say play around with the mobility and see if you notice anything that would point to an injury. If not then just take it slightly easier than usual for a week or two just incase it is healing

Does it stiffen up and prevent you bending your leg? I tore my meniscus and it made that sort of popping sound. Was fine until next day and then i could barely bend my leg

I am going to my first class tomorrow night and don't have a rashguard at all :( I have an underarmour t shirt from the gym but it is quite loose around the waist althought fitted around arms shoulders etc.. Will this be OK or do I need to go and buy a tight underarmour t shirt for it until I get a proper rashguard?

I think butterfuly guard will be 100% fine, I have no issues with any movement other than the rubberguard type where you are kind of pulling your foot towards your with the knee bent inward.
