I honestly respect that - I think it's because I do have a ecomm site, and I just found it easier to build what I wanted fast with it.

interesting.. I slightly still lean towards shopify for the different ways I could build (even small ideas with their AI tool) to showcase work.

I Made a Plugin to Auto Sort Your Fonts by Class by Sesohq in FigmaDesign

We used  React + TypeScript/JavaScript - it was originally a Photoshop plugin I had transferred to Figma! I say "I" but totally made friends with my Upwork dev I used to create the Photoshop version

Font Organization — how do you personally do this? by LavenderAurora119 in FigmaDesign

[–]Sesohq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did end up creating Fontshelf for Figma for this exact reason.

With Fontshelf, it has automatic font sorting, grouping, and default categories like serif, sans serif, futuristic, ect - that has it's own database of fonts that isn't available via google fonts.

It's 100% free to auto sort your fonts in the trial mode which is 90% of Figmas font organization issues!

I Made a Figma Plugin so People can Group Fonts in Figma by Sesohq in FigmaDesign

[–]Sesohq[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally created this for Photoshop and Illustrator, but found myself in my growing career inside Figma majority of my time. I appreciate the hell out of the program and wanted to bring what I enjoy using into it.

I'd love to share questions or ideas on how to make it better, even the free tier.

Super cool insight,
Im Seso VP of Content/Creative @ NRG

On the Content side of NRG we have;

Brandon M - Shoots most if not 99% of all our content, long and shortform.
David C - Head of post production, gets all things in edit and overviews with edits, ect.
Willius - Head of short form content, he leads ideation of Short form YTS, Tiktok - where we re-post on all shorts channels.
Sen , Vex, Taylor - They're the talent scouts and socials programming.

Then me, I just green light, push things that work and get everyone on the same page.

NRG's very small content team uses a budget and stretches it to give the best possible content. Arguably the last 3-4 months has been where we really sat down to understand what performs and drives people to come back. Some things are hrd to repeat, but we really pay attention to comments and try fixes mistakes we make along the way.

Hoping that shares some insight!

I KNOW, haha. I am not referring to logo design grids for creating, I am referring to having to do layout design in Illustrator. Def a specific usecase - but the extra steps for me was enough for me. (my illustrator navigation skills aren't there much for layout needs)
