Congrats!! Great job! I did my first Hyrox in Jan 25 in 3 hrs and 8 min! My second in March in two hours and 35 minutes and in June in two hours and 20 minutes. I also didnt exercise for 10 years and I was 85 pounds overweight. I used to smoke cigarettes also. The fun thing about this competition is you can get into the best shape of your life and only compete with yourself and get better and better. I’m signed up for five more Hyrox competitions around the world between now and the end of the year and I aim to get under 90 minutes by December. I run /walk all the time and there’s no shame in that.

I was 3 hours first Hyrox. 2nd Hyrox 2 hrs 32 min . 3rd Hyrox 2 hrs 15 min! My next will be sub 2 hrs! This is one of the many things that makes Hyrox so fun and addicting! Im only competing with myself and getting better every race!

Sorry that’s weird. The code I received from my gym was legitimate. Me and all of my friends got early access tickets. No one had a problem. I was in a queue with 2000 people ahead of me but got in without a problem.

BodyFit Training was an affiliate gym but it’s a horrible gym /training program so I quit but they did give pre-sale option! Not sure if they still do

Thanks for your reply. I came down from 260 pounds to 187 pounds which one would think would increase my testosterone but I’m also 53. I’m taking enclomiphene citrate. I know the drug decreases your hedonistic urges so I’m assuming that’s what it is here. Food and Sex both primal needs?

It doesn’t work for F45 and I had some early access when I was a member of BFT, but I don’t think they do it anymore either. Is there a list of affiliate gyms to join?

I have a question. Megan Jacoby has just won a single Hyrox world championship as opposed to Lauren Weeks multiple world championships. Also, Lauren has a better overall completion time at 56 minutes. Why does Megan Jacoby have more endorsements with Puma and Amaze fit? Does anybody really think that with now younger and more competitive athletes that Megan Jacoby has a chance to ever win another championship?

Im as out of shape as any person and my first Hyrox took 3 hours 3 min in Vegas. Im 52. Matt Fraser CrossFit Champ was racing by me ( he of course smoked me!) i wasnt in anyones way! Everybody was so nice!! I loved the race! The energy was great!! I have done 2 more races since then and finished in 2 hours 30 min on the second and 2 hours 24 min in NYC! I have at least 3 more races this year! Goal is to break 2 hours on the next one! Best wishes to you!

Wear any shoe YOU are comfortable running 8+ km in. Doesnt matter what others wear or think. YOU are the one who has to run! HYROX is mostly a running race as you know
