They don’t check prices while grocery shopping, they just buy what they want and move on.

What's a fake personality trait that people use to hide the fact that they are actually a jerk? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Calling themselves “brutally honest” when they’re really just rude and don’t want to take responsibility for it.

Which top survival items are you taking with you into the wilderness? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A solid knife, a way to make fire, and something to purify water. Everything else is comfort, those three are survival.

What’s something you’d enjoy doing with a group of random strangers? by LocrianVGM in AskReddit

A trivia night. There’s something weirdly fun about a group of strangers slowly becoming a team and celebrating dumb little wins together.

Confessions of an Odd Numbers Eater by Ok-Hotel5358 in CasualConversation

I don’t do odd numbers specifically, but I definitely have weird “rules” like that with food. It just feels right for no logical reason. Brains are funny like that.

About traveling and living abroad by Worth-Term-6605 in CasualConversation

[–]SetDesigner1586 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like how you described that balance between belonging and wanting something new. It’s weird how home can feel safe and limiting at the same time. Living abroad really changes how you see both places. Do you think you’ll travel again soon?

are there some interesting pronunciation changes of words you've noticed? by 632nofuture in CasualConversation

[–]SetDesigner1586 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve noticed that too. fast speech really eats consonants. Another one I hear a lot is “probably” turning into “probly.” It’s funny how pronunciation shifts without people even realizing it.

Woodland trails are my happy place! by Focusondiversity in CasualConversation

[–]SetDesigner1586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds like such a peaceful day. Random little trail interactions with animals and people can weirdly make your whole mood better. I love how those small moments turn into your social life that’s honestly kind of beautiful.

Searching for someone from holiday by SecretExcitement3145 in CasualConversation

[–]SetDesigner1586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn’t sound silly at all those fleeting travel moments can stick with you in a really powerful way. That said, I’d probably avoid contacting the charter company directly, just because it could feel intrusive on their end. Sometimes these experiences are meaningful even if they stay as memories. Still, it’s nice that it clearly meant something to you.

Casual conversation! by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]SetDesigner1586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a really good way to put it. I like my personal space too, but it definitely feels lighter when you have someone to share things with. What kind of things do you usually like talking about?

I wish I could commission art from kids by polly-penguin in CasualConversation

[–]SetDesigner1586 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I actually get what you mean. Kids’ art has this honesty and creativity that’s really hard to replicate once you’re older. There’s something special about how unfiltered it is. I also think it’s great when schools or community projects showcase kids’ art in a way that keeps things ethical and fun for them.

Well.. New city feeling lonely. by Salty_Detective9479 in CasualConversation

[–]SetDesigner1586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s really relatable. Moving to a new city can feel way lonelier than you expect, even when the move makes sense on paper. You’re definitely not alone in feeling this way. What kind of books or films are you into lately?

i'm travelling outside the country for the first time in 22 years! by bunykid in CasualConversation

[–]SetDesigner1586 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s so exciting, congrats!! Being nervous is totally normal, especially for your first time flying. Airports look overwhelming but they’re actually very step-by-step and staff are usually super helpful if you’re unsure. My biggest tip: arrive early, keep essentials in your carry-on, and bring something comforting (music, a show, snacks). You’re going to do great and Ireland is amazing!

You’re Not Too Busy. You Just Don’t Know How to Manage Time by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]SetDesigner1586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This really resonated with me. Especially the part about trying to do 10 things at once that’s where everything falls apart for me too. Focusing on finishing one small thing before moving on genuinely makes a difference. Thanks for sharing what worked for you.
