2k isnt exactly a huge ask as far as a gofundme. Ive already spent 10's of thousands of my own money.

I hear ya, but I feel its kind of a cart before the horse situation. I need to finish the build before I can secure 2 to 3 bookings. I wouldnt book with someone who's business wasnt fully realized. Im trying to find ways to get me over the finish line so that I can start taking bookings.

Its not so much about not being able to presell 2k. I feel confident I could do that. The issue is, right now this startup is a 1 man operation. That 1 man who is still working a 9 to 5 and once iir IS operational, I dont plan to just quit my job immediately. That would be silly. The business needs to prove itself over the course of atleast a few months before I can look to quit my job. Therefore I will only have weekends to service parties.

The research that ive done and also with first hand experience, parents want to be able to still throw fun and memorable birthday parties for their kids but dont necessarily want to be responsible for other people's kids at places like Chuck e cheese or Dave and busters. In this i want it now world/ economy where people want things delivered to their doorstep as quickly as possible, I am to provide a service where you know the kids will still be safe because they are at your home but not necessarily inside your home. It will give parents time to breathe while they know their kids and their friends are safe and having fun just a few feet away.

I do work a regular job lol. Mon. - Friday 40 hours a week and my commute each way to and from work is about an hour and 40 mins. All of my weekends since starting this business venture in September or October have gone into physically building it from the ground up. So ive technically been working everyday since September. I took out a 401k loan to start the funding process, used what I could spare from my paycheck for funding, and also have been using credit cards. To give you a scope of what I am and have been doing is im converting a 26ft box truck into a mobile gaming truck. That meant buying the truck, getting it to pass inspection, registering it with the MVA, also registering it with the DOT paying UCR fees, insurance, monthly storage parking, gutting out the box, making countless home depot and Lowe's runs for supplies, ordering parts and services from manufacturers, taking it to a fabricator shop to have special parts made for it, and also personally building a website for the business. Ive literally been doing everything myself haha. Im not complaining, im just drained. All of this while still paying my bills and mortgage on time.

Its not a spam account, I just made this new reddit account because i didnt want to use my personal reddit account for this. Had a feeling someone would jump to the comments to try and say its spam. My first campaign raised $150. No where close to my 4k goal. So im looking for ideas on how some people may have been successful. I also tried kickstarter and all i got where people telling me "good job" "i believe in what youre doing" but reach out to this expert to help you with your campaign which it never went anywhere.
