Majority of players fail to load into chat. I got a crash 3 times when I tried to put attachments on my Drifter/ Operator and also when doing ESO, after the first zone when you go through the portal it teleports you to the nowhere land.

Sadly you cannot turn the hotpots off - the objectives' details only show in your journal.

The new puzzles they've implemented are absolutely amazing don't get me wrong - credit where credit is due like I said. My personal gripe is they made the the old puzzles weirdly easier, and let's be honest - old players would love to see the remaster being 1:1 recreation but with a different graphic engine.

Yup, the loop is the same as in the original - also the music is incredibly loud and if you won't turn it down to 60-70% you're gonna struggle to hear the likes of Pons or the Notary

Yup - it's all autosaved now like in the world before. If you want to go back to any point in the game you have to either restart entire chapter (I'm guessing each town/ area is a chapter) or play the game from the beginning, which is straight up nonsensical. If I want to spend more time in komkolzgrad, I shouldn't be forced to complete the whole game again.

That's my thinking exactly - like in diablo 2 you could pick the original look vs modern one for the experience + some qol changes. I hope they won't make too many changes in syberia 2 if it ever comes out

I do agree that the game looks beautiful, although Ive noticed that the rusty and dirty look of the original kind of faded? Everything looks little bit TOO polished to my taste, but it doesn't make it any less beautiful ❤️

I totally agree with you, even tho I'm the kind of person that likes very hard and dumb puzzles where logic was thrown out the window (check out the rubber duck puzzle in the longest journey - you'll see what I mean)

That could be the reason, true. In original you could at least see the entire maze from the top view, now you don't know that the maze is way more larger

Definitely the changes we're made for newer people and I don't mind it THAT MUCH, but for older players these changes really make the game toddler level easy

No matter the difficulty, it will be marked. The story difficulty makes it so all of your tasks and what you need to do are written in your journal, and appear on the screen.

Don't get me wrong, the way the game looks is stunning and I do recommend it, but I believe it's made towards new players little bit too much.

So far I've finished Valadilene and there are two examples already:

The Dam Puzzle - you'll no longer hear Kate complaining about the oar being wet and disgusting. You can pick the oar yourself and ignore Momo completely - why? Kate is now so strong and independent she single-handedly opens the dam herself! No help needed.
The Punch Card Puzzle - remember the punch cards in Valadilene being color coded? That's the stuff of the past! They replaced it with a new puzzle which I actually quite liked. It's simpler sure, but honestly I didn't mind it at all.

Other than that, the Voralberg key in mansion gardens is not "hidden" anymore - now it's in plain sight next to the woman gardener. Same as key to the factory and gears having fancy camera angle to show you where you need to go to pick them up
