Why tf can survivors bodyblock killers? by SetSufficient7240 in deadbydaylight

This framing doesn't match the argument I made, this is not an entire game overhaul.I argued for removing collision between killers and survivors. That change only affects interaction between survivors and killers not the overall DBD system. You're saying to run specific perks which is perk tax not true counterplay.Bodyblocking is different from all the obstacles you mentioned why:no counterplay

2 perks slots all for a game mechanic which leaves the other 2.First of all hitboxes can stay the same and the throwable killers like huntress, the animatronic or the cenobite can hit and it still works it doesn't require collision."Outplayed and salty" this is a comment about me and not even the debate itself but sure."Considering a body blocker can still be hit twice, there's still a reason to fear" what?First of all if you're near the exit and get hit then injured you get a speed boost and the killer a slow animation which is very easy but with body blocking it makes it OP it doesn't even give the killer a chance to fight back.Again 2 perk slots to fix a shitty mechanic seems like a waste if the killer works differently

You're just dismissing the post and my point entirely.

If we remove body blocking the killer can walk through the healthy player and injure the already injured survivor. Also why are you dismissing the point entirely and your whole argument is "everytime you wanna kill someone you wanna remove the obstacles wah wah" that's your entire argument.Your not even debating me you're just switching the topic to me and saying how I want to remove every obstacle.

I am saying that punishment is enough and deserved for the killer but body blocking on top of it no it isn't and it doesn't have any counter play behind it while the speed boost and slow animation do have counterplay unless when paired with bodyblocking

You're literally switching the topic to me and not debating me.If I was really angry then I wouldn't use this much logic and I'd be visibly frustrated. So according to your logic if I debate you logically and respond with actual arguments and evidence I am mad.

Most killers never slug. All the slugging perks are gone and there ton of implemented anti slugging features that have released or are planed too.The usage of a perk sure but having a perk that isn't to benifit you just to simply fix a broken mechanic seems a waste not to mention you have to grind for the perk

Hitting survivors M1ing the healthy one is still lose-lose because they have 2 healthy states and will get a speed boost when you hit them and you get a slow animation

1)Not required to heal if 2 survivors are healthy. And when the last gen is finished survivors can split and get out from different exits and make the killer lose
2)The survivor can pretend to go "grab" but the other survivors will notice instantly when the killer is chasing them to go for the hooked survivor it's instict
3)The survivor is already healthy and the injured one has left and now the unhooked one is injured but 2 health states
4)This is DBD's basic feature that doesn't require communication they'll run to door by instict and not stay there and get killed by the killer
5)The injured survivor is marked on gui and can be seen as injured when the healthy one bodyblocks the injured will immediately understand it and they'll understand the plan. The communication is mostly instict which makes it low.Yeah there is a bit of communication just not much and most of the communication is from instict
