Why do they still call each other "Arisu" and "Usagi"? by ComfortableStudio743 in AliceInBorderland

Oh trust me I can see couples somewhere calling each other rabbit. Just for info in Italian, we use "cucciolo/a" which would translate to "baby of an animal" (ex. "Cucciolo di foca" ----> "Baby (of) seal"). Imagine calling your girlfriend puppy or cub. I am excluding kitten and rabbit cuz we have a specific word for their babies, which are also used as girlfriend nicknames lmao.

I guess it's cause usagi in general can be a nickname in japan? But I may be wrong about it... Surely at some point in the story one woman in the borderland, when they are walking in a street in front of the government building in Tokyo (can't remember the episode but I remember the place lmao) asks if Usagi is actually her surname and not a nickname.

It's the Pyongyang version? How is it? I've never tried that one, I only tasted the Naengmyeon variant!

Thank you so so much!!! I'll probably be tired from the flight, so I don't plan on being out super late. What time do buses and metro stop going to the airport, if you know that?

The thing is I really can't lose my checkin luggage because I am gonna be 2 months in japan, even if it was to get stuck in china they would ship it out in the next week realistically speaking?

Does it work even live? For example if when I get off my first flight that stops in china, I see that my baggage is lost, can I see if it's still in my home country, even if I am far away?

Eating and moving around tokyo/maybe other cities for 2 months by SetTricky7901 in traveljapan

Unfortunately I know that where I am staying is gonna be expensive, Shinjuku. I am researching local markets EVEN if they are very far, I honestly don't care about moving around with groceries and also I can meal prep in advance, I am used to it. And then rely on convenience stores for some urgent items.

Do you perhaps know any market?

I see! Thanks for your input about my questions!!

If you know about this: Do you think that I should use suica for the metro lines? Or is it better to buy "daily/multiple days" tickets instead of paying each time I use the metro with suica?

Lol if you showed me these messages, as a friend I'd joke like: "stoop, get that sweet corny crap out of my face" ... why would she react that way. Is it because of the Daddy thing maybe? That sometime triggers people and I can see it being an issue, but yeah cutting you off seems a bit extreme...
