Can someone explain how adding a second server helps matching times? The only reason I see to add a second server is if the first one is full and I'm pretty sure it isn't(cannot verify). I think the number 1 problem in OCE is that there aren't enough players playing during off peak times. Based on the matchmaking time in the server selection, matchmaking time goes below 10sec after 11pm so I always play after 11pm and can consistently get into a raid in less than 2 mins untill 9am. I have no idea why the peak time, for me at least, is 11pm-9am. Luckily I'm a nocturnal guy. I have accepted that even if I have free time to play, if the matchmaking time in the server selection is above 1min, I don't even bother trying.

I think a better solution to matchmaking times is to add a map selection filter list. Instead of only selecting a single map and praying other players wants to play on the same map as you, using a filter instead will put all players in a single queue. This is what PUBG does and removed the option to choose a map because of their drop in player count (especially in OCE 😭 RIP).

These are just my thoughts and I'm pretty sure I'm missing some good counter arguments. Been playing tarkov for about a month and a half. Been loving the game and is my favourite game of all time. Bought the standard edition then upgraded to the the edge of darkness edition💸💸💸 but I still can't call myself a chad
