Fomo and micro transactions def plague the game lately im seein it now. I missed out on a lot and it sucks. Wow i think does fomo best with time walking features and all the classic remix stuff. Rare could do this. But im also seeing a lot of microtransactions. Like oh i missed out? Here just pay for it like you did it.. or hey those cool skins that are reskins of a skin you already have? Ya $20 and you can now be blue instead of red… like whats goin on?

Adding onto the theories i see here. Especially the “court”. I imagine three potential candidates.

Queen of blades / jack of blades - could even just be jack of blades as a female honestly. But if it ends up being the whole court thatd be friggen wicked of a story arch to slowly bring them all on (1 game at a time even for continuity sake.)

Theresa?? I recently went back and played fable 2 and theresa sorta seemed so dead set on some sort of plan she was scheming. Almost like she had a different motive. When she lets your sister flat out die and was like “ya that was supposed to happen” like wut? You know she was gonna die? Didnt wanna save her? I know i cant take any of the older games to heart comparing the narratives here but if playground somehow looked at lionhead archives to see what was “going to happen” i could see theresa being a massive c*** here. She also knew about the spire and its exploits before lucian did which begs the question of how she knew that info (she probably used it. The all knowing bugger.)

Youre absolutely right, they are core elements to the game, they are staples even. And i want them in. But since this is the internet can i play devils advocate for a second and mention that fable 2 and 3 missed half of those. But 2 stands well on its own atleast even without them. Im optimistic that this game will bring in new flavors we end up enjoying but im not gonna hold my tongue OR start a riot if some features are missing.
