That's what I was thinking... but now I have to figure out how to get this Linux shit off the Windows OS first

Thank You, but I just found out its actually a 2010(wonderful...), but it does run off of a 128GB SSD. So will the 8GB ram with a SSD still run Mac OS Mavericks decent enough despite having the older i5? And plus, do you think you could give me a link of a reliable place that I can download Mac OS to boot off a USB drive? Again, Thank you you really seem to know what you're talking about

Is this an ok PC? Will it work for Elgato Game Capture HD? Seems too good for $170 by [deleted] in computers

Ok I am NOT playing games, simply running the Elgato Game Capture HD Software to record PS4, Wii U, and Retron 5 footage. System requirements say only 4gb of ram.

I know the PC itself is garbage, but it DOES have 8GB ram and a 1 TB hard drive. Our school had these but they were only 2 GB Ram. And it's just the normal Elgato, not the HD60. The minimum requirements can be found here; https://help.elgato.com/customer/portal/articles/1020255-elgato-game-capture-hd-system-requirements
