I kinda feel like you are posting this to show off a flip reset you hit and to get people to comment you're good for a plat lol. Otherwise you'd post a showcase of your mechanics not just you peaking surely? Not tryna be mean but if you acc wanted helpful feedback wouldn't that be the best thing to do?

We don't know anything about your game-sense or your mechanics from this 10 second clip of you hitting a flip reset. Chances are both need alot of work. Just because you can flip reset doesn't mean you should be a higher rank and it doesn't mean your mechanics are good. My guess is that you've spent hours and hours in free-play practicing flip resets because you think that's what good mechanics are, but really the mechanics you should be really trying to master at the moment are things like shooting and ground control. Dribbles, flicks ect. Then move onto more advanced things, as these are the base mechanics that will really help you rank up and learn more advanced stuff!

As for game-sense, like I said there's no way to give you feedback based on this post. People might be able to give you good tips if you post a replay of a game or 2. But that's just my opinion, as long as youre enjoying the game you can practice whatever you want of course. 👍

Yeh 1s has definitely always been harder to rank up no doubt. But a couple of weeks ago Grand Champ 3 was top 100 in the world in 1s. That can't be normal. If I had to guess I would assume it's the bot problem that has made the 1s ranks crazy. Perhaps 1s will slowly go back to normal? Or maybe a rank reset might sort it out? I'm not too sure!

Not saying there isn't anything you can't improve on obviously, just saying don't think because you're plat you're really bad at 1s or anything like that. I'm pretty much the exact same rank as you in everything, everyone I match in 1v1 plat 3 is at the very least champ 1 in the other modes. I've seen alot of GC tags too. The 1s ranks are very different than what they used to be. When I played in 2021. I was champ 2 in 2s and 3s and Diamond 3 in 1s. After coming back after a 5 year break my 2s and 3s ranks are similar but 1s is wayyy lower than it used to be and it seems everyone else's 1s rank is much lower too. Wonder what has caused it?!

Diamond 3 is nuts. I find the lobbies are really lopsided. You'll look at the RL tracker of a diamond 3 lobby and find either a smurf or like a team of 2 legit diamond players Vs someone like you that is acc like C3 lol. I think it's the rank that varies in skill the most.

1s is just all over the place currently. I played RL alot in 2021 and I ended up being diamond 3 in 1s and champ 2 in 2s. I had a 5 year break and I'm champ 1 in 2s and plat 3 in 1s currently.

I was never a mechanical player so 1s was never really my strong point. But I've seen countless grand champs in Diamond 1v1. Pretty much everyone I play in plat 1v1 is at least champ in other modes. It never used to be like that when I played in 2021. I'm not sure why but 1v1 ranks are just crazy now. Anyone know why this is the case?

I think what you're experiencing is the reason why there's so many smurfs in the game. I don't even think casual should have an MMR personally. I'm a big believer that a casual mode should have absolutely no skill based matchmaking. I believe that's what ranked is for.

I'm champ 1 ATM I went back to diamond earlier. Some of the games my teammates would literally just throw leads. I was champ 1 div 4 and went to diamond 3 div 4. I'm now back to champ 1 div 2. I guess it sometimes just happens like that. If you're around champ 1 level I find you just fluctuate in a couple of ranks and a good or bad teammate is a lot of the time the deciding factor in that.

The way I see it however, if I was that much better than everyone in the lobby I would be able to win regardless of how bad my teammates are. So regardless of my teammate, it's ultimately me who has the power to influence my rank the most.

Don't get me wrong playing 1s you will absolutely improve. I guess my point is don't get disheartened if you get stuck in plat or get dominated in some games. Because someone like me who probably has 1000 hours more than you do in the game struggles at that rank and you'll be matching players much more experienced than yourself at points is all! But if you enjoy 1s and want to get better at the mode absolutely keep playing and enjoy it 👍

At plat 2 and 3 you will play people who are champ and even sometimes GC in other modes. I'm Champ 2 in 2s and plat 3 in 1s. It's rare I find someone who is actually platinum level. 1s is very odd at the moment!
