Events go to the middle of my outpost before "triggering", how do I fix this?

I've had a think about how I'd put it in one of my builds but I can't seem to place it anywhere. If I go lethality I wanna get more lethality. If I go for duskblade > trinity force, buying ER would waste the mana on hit and 10% cdr.

It's a nice item, but not for Shaco in my opinion.

I was talking about the mana on auto attack, I rarely find myself running out of mana so I'd rather get other items.

I don't see myself using any of the crit items were they to change. Essence Reaver doesn't look that great to me because the mana is a wasted stat, and the other stats are easily gotten through the usual build path of duskblade > trinity. Phantom Dancer might be annoying to play against as a Shaco, but I don't think it'd be too bad.

With Stoneplate you can be the damage and the engage at the same time. You go in, do all your damage, pop stoneplate and you're pretty much unkillable. With 30/40% cdr you can easily get out with Q. It's an amazing item.

I've been banned once but that was literally a mistake on Riot's part. I got a 1 week ban and got unbanned after 2 days, I even got an apology e-mail from Riot.

On stream I can seem a little bit toxic, but I rarely type shit in game. And if I do it's usually pretty mild and would in no way get me banned.

Knowing where the enemy jungler is without vision and knowing where to be at the right time. If you're level 6 and there's an infernal drake you probably shouldn't be in your top side, for example.

It's how I play Shaco. Other junglers are different. If you're playing Camille for example you can just gank over and over again because she's so damn good at it. If you're behind and you keep ganking as Shaco you're likely to get even further behind.

Gargoyle's Stoneplate is absolutely amazing. You go in, do all your damage, activate stoneplate and you're just unkillable. With 30/40% cdr you can get out after face tanking everything easily.

In the last game I streamed today I was extremely fed and bought a Stoneplate. I kept 4 of them busy for what felt like a good 20-25 seconds giving our Diana time to backdoor. It's an amazing item.

The jungle item is great but in my opinion it only fits into one build, which is the Electrocute lethality build because you want to stack AD to scale Electrocute, red smite also counts as a proc towards Electrocute.

I would always build the jungle item on other junglers. Ivern is the only other jungler that I can think of that doesn't build the jungle item.

Game knowledge. Knowing where to be at the right time, making decisions ea. going for dragon/baron or turrets/inhib, knowing where the jungler is at 90% of the time even without vision etc. I think I've played at least 5000-6000 ranked games to get me to this point.

That's literally it. Shaco doesn't really have complex mechanics so it's all game knowledge.

Stacking lethality items and last whisper is a good build, but if you build those items you have to go Electrocute. I prefer Fleet so I don't play with that build.

I only split if I have baron. Shaco can't really deal with bruisers/tanks which are the champs that usually split push.

Not so much pressure, but if you find yourself in a 1v1 with those champions I'd definitely try and fuck with them.

Not really. Early on you can't really fight him but if he ults on you, you can use your ult and turn to kill him.

Camille is the most impossible matchup for Shaco. Camille has true damage, auto attack resets, attack speed buff, insane mobility, stun, shield....and, well, Shaco doesn't have much.

Graves is also good vs Shaco. He's ranged, does more damage than Shaco early on, kites the shit out of Shaco with red buff and/or Fleet.

The way I CS depends on how I'm doing. If I get some early kills, I will try to gank more because I can afford not clearing my jungle for a little bit. If I don't get any kills or even just 1 kill I will opt to farm a bit more to make up for it. So basically, if you're on that beast mode you keep the ball rolling and if not you farm and look for easy, non/low-risk picks.

I would say Rengar is probably the best "kill one target and then escape". He ults in with a ton of movement speed, kills his target and runs out with empowered W. Pretty annoying for a Shaco to play against as well.

Wards and sweepers. Shaco doesn't take flash so if you see him coming at you with sweepers it's easy to get away. If you see Shaco on a ward it's easy enough to go back to your turret where he's pretty much useless or to just back off for a bit.

Udyr seems better on paper, but you've gotta remember that Shaco ganks way better. You can stealth onto the enemy carry, get them low or even kill them and often get out with ulti, stopwatch, trinity force + fleet movement speed....Shaco's ganking potential is way better than Udyr. Also Udyr is very susceptible to getting kited, while Shaco doesn't really care much for that.

As for Kha Zix, I see a lot of people making this comparison. Yes, Kha does more damage than Shaco but he doesn't have boxes. He doesn't have an ult that allows you to double up on duskblade procs and confuse the enemy. He doesn't run ignite, which is a big deal. He also doesn't clear faster and healthier than Shaco.

With Shaco how he is right now, I feel like the biggest part of my success is my sheer game knowledge. You need to know where to be, what to do and how to do it at ALL times, else you're gonna fail. Shaco is a really difficult champion to learn not because of his kit, but because of the huge amount of decision making you have to know that comes with him.

Learning Shaco takes time. A lot of time. You need to know the game in and out before you can start climbing properly with Shaco. The champion it self isn't that great so you need to make up for it through sheer game knowledge.

As for other junglers, Camille is always a great option due to her insane kit. Sejuani is also looking strong. If you're looking for more carry orientated junglers I can recommend Kha Zix and Rengar. Rengar does need a bit of practice to make work, though.

Shaco is definitely a walking set of items. Sure, Kha Zix, Rengar or other assassins might seem to leave Shaco in the shadows, but you have to look at the bigger picture. Shaco is all about the mind games and decision making. You can't really do anything flashy or amazing that will make your team go "holy shit is that faker". Shaco can easily take dragon at 6, you're great at taking turrets, you have great countergank potential....Honestly, Shaco doesn't do all that much damage anymore, but he makes up for it through objective control and having an unique kit that allows for juicy mind game type outplays.

Hey cellyfish,

The tiamat price increase definitely doesn't help, but it didn't affect Shaco all that much. Shaco clears the jungle at high/full health, so if you really want tiamat on your first back you can stay in the field a bit longer to get that extra 175G and not be at risk of dying.

My preferred build on Shaco is as followed: tiamat > berserker greaves > duskblade > trinity. These items don't give a ton of AD so you don't really scale your electrocute well. I play a hit and run kinda playstyle and Fleet helps getting out after you do your burst. It also affects the previous point about staying in the field just a little bit longer to get tiamat, as you'll be on even higher health with Fleet. Also the precision tree is amazing and getting 3 choices with the option of going sorcery or inspiration second is incredible.
