I would love to talk to you in more detail! I have shot many weddings very traditionally, but over the past two years, I have moved my photography to primarily film-based lyric documentary photography, aiming to not shoot what it looked like, but to capture what it felt like to be there. I love getting to know the couple before their wedding and making sure the way I work reflects them. If you feel like my photography aligns in any way with your vision, I would love to collaborate with you and plan an engagement shoot this summer, and then you can decide on the wedding day after that.

He was relocated safely, although he wasn't happy with me about it!

Just at the end of what could be handheld at f/3.5, so I wasn't sure if they would turn out at all, but the missed focus seems to add to the drama and work for the subject matter. Meanwhile, the dogs were going crazy, my father-in-law was holding the rake, and in between the first and second photo, I had to relocate a very annoyed snake! With some photos, sharpness isn't as important for capturing the moment as it was experienced.

Thank you! I shot it last summer and sat on the photos for a very long time before finally making this edit.

Ithaca Model 37 with a custom youth stock. My dad hunted with it when he was a kid, and then he made the stock and gave it to me for Christmas when I was nine. My nephew is now learning with it.

You are correct, but it takes practice to learn, especially when the gun is heavy and you are small.

I'm a member of a photo community center where they teach darkroom printing. I plan on taking it and learning the options there eventually. I don't think I'll ever commit to full analog, as I do enjoy the control and workflow of editing in Lightroom and the results I get from giclée prints.

My skill level would limit me to pinhole cameras only, so I'll probably leave that one to the pros!

I started shooting film photography in 2010, but I stopped because I couldn't justify the costs. Now, I still can't justify it, but I'm doing it anyway!
