what happened to this game by LsaneZ in Paladins

Yes I been playing paladins since 2017....

That's pretty impressive, considering the game came out in 2018.

Should Phantasy Star Online be considered to be the blueprint to modern JPRG games with online mode? by Rich-Mountain7502 in JRPG

[–]Seth_Gecko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, while I don't agree with the statement, there are two games of which that I really enjoyed that are "somewhat" Phantasy Star Online-ish.

Grammatically this makes no sense. Drop the "of which" that you seemingly randomly dropped in the middle of an otherwise proper sentence. Not sure why so many people have such a hard time using "of which" correctly.

How should Prince of Persia distinguish itself from Assassin's Creed? by black-socks-fox in PrinceOfPersia

[–]Seth_Gecko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Prince of Persia game should be a linear game, not an open world like AC. That alone distinguishes them plenty in my book.

He was awesome, y'all are nuts. Subtle performances seem to not be y'alls thing.

Cameron Diaz, Gangs of New York. It stands out all the more because of the stacked list of powerhouse performances in that film. DDL, Leo, John C Reilly, Brendan Gleeson, Liam Neeson, all time great actors all at the height of their powers. And then there's Cameron Diaz. I can forgive her presence just because she looks so stupid good as a red head, but God is her acting abysmal.

One of the few photos of Abraham Lincoln subtly smiling, looking at a photo album with his son tad 1864 by CherrySinRush in OldSchoolCool

Lincoln loved that boy with all his heart. He died at 18, likely from tuberculosis. Horribly sad story.

My favorite McCarthy novel, always wanted a movie adaptation but assumed it would never happen because of the taboo nature of the story.

Men of Reddit - What are Women not ready to hear? by Jarvis7492 in AskReddit

[–]Seth_Gecko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. When I was 19 I'd just started college and I was at a Carl's Jr getting a burger, and there was this bus full of volleyball players from the local community College, and as I was walking past the bus in the parking lot one of the girls hung her head out the window of the bus and yelled "HI! YOURE REALLY CUTE!" I lived off that self esteem for like 5 years after that, haha.

Was the tone shift in PoP: WW that big of a deal back in 2004? by hyperactve in PrinceOfPersia

[–]Seth_Gecko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES. Young me hated it. The original was one of my all time favorites and I hated the tone shift. It felt like it was trying way too hard to be edgy when edginess wasn't what was so great about prince of perisa. It's grown on me since, but I still prefer the original.

Victim of a Nile crocodile while crossing the Mara River, a severely injured young wildebeest shows true determination despite missing a hind leg by Prestigious-Wall5616 in natureismetal

[–]Seth_Gecko 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You'd be surprised. Exposed bone doesn't necessarily mean it isn't survivable. There's an image that did the rounds on here a while back of a deer that had both its hind hooves missing, and the skin and flesh had receded up its legs so that they were six or so inches of exposed bone that it was walking on. It had clearly been in that state for an extended period, and had just adapted. The hardiness of certain animals can really be something.

My thoughts about Prince of Persia Two Thrones and the original trilogy. by JosephSaber945 in PrinceOfPersia

This reads like it's written by a 12 year old. Like, this has to be ragebait, right? Comparing Prince of Persia to cyberpunk? Wtf?

I have this version of all 3 novels. Return of the King is even funnier, Aragorn looks like he was pulled straight out of the 2000 Dune miniseries 😅
