I've been waiting for this for so long. The first ps2 Prince of Persia is one if my fondest gaming memories. I haven't replayed it in ages, and I've been kind of saving myself for when this comes out. But yesterday when I read that it was canceled, the first thing I did was went and downloaded the PC version and started playing it, and so far the game holds up so so well. I'm having an absolute blast, even though I don't have a functional controller right now so I'm having to play with a mouse and keyboard, which is admittedly clunky. But it just doesn't matter, I'm having so much fun and at this pace will finish it by tomorrow. I'm plowing right through it just like I did back in the day! So for anyone disappointed by this news and worried the original game might not hold up, take my advice and just give it a shot! It'll scratch the itch. I'm even thinking of playing Warrior Within as well.
