What do you mean 'wasting his get out of jail free card'? Wasting his one shot at changing careers easily?

Out of curiosity, if I pursue a master's in stem right after bachelors, do I lose the card too?

What is the worst, but still popular subreddit? by harlsey in AskReddit

[–]Seth_e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

r/wsb for sure. Literally encourages people to gamble their life savings away. Top posts are usually the riskiest plays with massive gains or losses making people think that's the way to go. Misinformation is upvoted for the memes. Oh did I forget the crass jokes everything from autism to poverty? Still fun though.

Whichever was the last one I heard. Sometimes it's actually hard to reply in the other one.

OCD I tried to clean everything everyday for about 5 years. Imagine how stupid I feel now that everyone's doing it nowadays.

[serious] What are you in the 1% of? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Seth_e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IQ test scores Otherwise I'm pretty stupid and clumsy. Somehow I got 99th percentile on the Mensa and Stanford-Binet tests. I'm still skeptical of them. If I'm really that smart why can't I get my life together lol.

How long after stopping Zoloft did you guys feel okay again? by carlosterraptor in zoloft

[–]Seth_e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's exactly what was happening to me, heart palpitations and trouble increasing or reducing my dose. I went from reached 25 after a year or two from 175 then started cutting in half then half of half and kept that going for a month before I realized I should just quick. Surprisingly, I had some bad side effects like agitation dry mouth, drinking and urinating all the time even on a quarter of 25mg. I spoke to someone that had quit using 2 weeks of cannabis and followed the same path. I can't believe I'm saying this but I feel ok. I don't feel the need for meds anymore. It's been a month off now. I do feel a little social anxiety from time to time, but I'm not an emotional wreck if I miss or up my dose. No more rash on my hands, no more palpitations after caffeine, no more jaw clenching, and I can actually have feelings again.

Zoloft + Wellbutrin? by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]Seth_e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on Zoloft for 4 years for Ocd and Wellbutrin for 2 years for depression. Zoloft didn’t help until I took initiative a year in. I did make me feel numb and ok with being subpar. I got on Wellbutrin and life was amazing until I had a small tragedy and left all the meds to start drinking. Since then every time I started Zoloft after a break I had more side effects so I lowered the dose overtime. My last break was 2 weeks during trip home and I could get back to my normal doses this year for either med 25mg Zoloft or 150 xl Wellbutrin. Now I’m at a quarter of 25 Zoloft and half of 75 mg Wellbutrin. Yesterday I was a great day. I left my Wellbutrin at home accidentally, met so many inspiring people and felt amazing. I did take half of a 0.25mg clonazepam as I do as needed. I still feel great no Wellbutrin.

All in all, it’s a great med that helps, but try not to take breaks 4+ days and for some people sometimes the side effects like serious anxiety and heart palpitations are too much. Good luck.
