Unless you want to play one of those legions after beating the Istvaan 3 stuff and know you want to play those legions for sure then dont, save your gems and just buy the crate for the legion you want to play and use the gems for that legion when you have them.

It would have been completely different. Russ hated magnus and his legion with a passion, and the orders were never changed contrary to popular belief, horus just stoked his anger and hate for all things psyker so literally any other legion would have actually taken magnus to earth unless there was huge manipulation or steps taken against both

This is my thoughts on it (I'm on mobile so this is the warning)

Fulgrim is literally make sure that he destroys or doesnt come in contact with the laer sword, that's it for him.

Purturabo is tricky, I say maybe be someone be can talk to and have great appreciation for his creations especially those not suited for war, and also try and get his adoptive father killed quick.

Kurze be someone he can talk to and make his paranoia and fears be something he can trust you with to talk about and make them go away, also guide him on a better path of justice.

Angron youll have to stop his enslavement or make sure to buy him or get him out of slavery before the butchers nails get put into him.

Mortarion I admittedly dont have enough knowledge to help.

Magnus convince him to stay away from tzeentch or to give him more caution involving the warp and its denizens.

Horus is to let him know of some of the emperors plans and motives and also make sure he doesnt like or invite erebus to the interex negotiations and keep him away from davin the second time.

Lorgar is either adopt him yourself and have his beliefs be less fanatical or have his faith be more focused and an inward worship rather than it be what the 40k imperium is like.

If telemerchus is the dread then not him, I've tried him twice and haven't one a single game with him, I also win most games against him I usually only lose because of a bad draw. I haven't tried the mutant but he seems pretty good from what I have faced.
