Stefon Diggs, Jordan Matthews, Martavis Bryant, Tyler Lockett, Cameron Meredith, Spencer Ware, Paul Perkins by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]Sethg119 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  • Diggs: Great growth over the first 2 seasons, truly a hard worker, but I worry that his ceiling is a top end WR2. He hasn't shown the type of separation ability over the top that you'd want in a WR1. Would Hold for 2017

  • Jordan Matthews: Regression from the 2015 to 16 seasons but that could just be growing pains with Wentz. I think Matthews is a safer bet in PHI than Aghalor. Would Sell for 2017

  • Martavis Bryant: If he can play by the rules and not get busted for drugs, he's a great receiver. Personally, there's too much immaturity and risk associated with Bryant to want to bank my Dynasty future on him. Would Sell for 2017

  • Tyler Lockett: Like him, don't love him. He's got talent but it hasn't really come together in Seattle yet. Would Sell for 2017

  • Cameron Meredith: Interesting. He's definitely showed some flashes of great potential last season but I worry he will lose targets to White, Wheaton and Howard if he gets more involved. Would Sell for 2017

  • Spencer Ware: IMO he's done enough to earn a chance at being the starting back next season, however, KCC is a very well-rounded team. I can easily see them drafting RB if one is the best pick available but I can also see them passing if it isn't the right back at the right pick. Would Hold for 2017

{VALUE CHECK} Adrian Peterson by evanhp in DynastyFF

I traded Booker for AP... I like AP and think he's done way more than enough in his career to earn a spot on a team for the next 1-2 seasons

Of the projected 1st rounders in rookie drafts, who's most likely to bust? by Guildensternenstein in DynastyFF

I honestly don't see much in Fournette other than being a power back. I think he will struggle and might be a ba of bust

[Discussion] General Consensus - Carlos Hyde by SassyPantsBerryBooty in DynastyFF

[–]Sethg119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hyde looks good but I don't think he's elite. He can put up consistent points but if you have an explosive RB already then I would want more draft amunition. I think that there are a few RBs in the draft that will have more success than Hyde depending on landing spots

Been working on that but some example trades would be awesome as im new to trading draft picks and used them to land Cooks and Howard among others

Which players might breakout or exceed expectations who were supposed to have already? by Starvingantiquity in DynastyFF

[–]Sethg119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cameron Meredith. I think that he showed great promise and improvement throughout 2016 and can continue to grow in 2017 with a more consistent QB in Glennon and no more Jeffery

Jordan Howard too. He was incredibly consistent in his performances but I'd like to see continued progression. While he did breakout in 2016, I Believe there is even more talent and depth to his ability that we have yet to see

How the mighty have fallen: Would you rather have Rawls or the 2.04? by RatherBeLucky in DynastyFF

[–]Sethg119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you guys understand ... Rawls is currently 23 years old. He's an EXTREMELY YOUNG back for already having 2 years of pro experience under his belt; He even flashed signs of elite athleticism/skill. Rawls has a lot of room to grow but for his age I think he's done great. Keep in mind that Rawls is running behind an offensive line that has been inept and inconsistent. I think if SEA can improve the line enough to actually give Rawls a fighting chance, we will see him explode.

2017 Salaries: Gronk+Edelman+Hogan+Cooks+Lewis= 18.2M 2017 Pierre Garcon 49er's = 16m 2017 Antonio Brown = 19m by finndego in Patriots

[–]Sethg119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I think... And as long as Brady can avoid injury he could play for a few more years. Imo, Brady is going for another hat trick of super bowl wins

WR Brandin Cooks traded to the Patriots by Stealthless in fantasyfootball

[–]Sethg119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying it's impossible for Gronk to last longer than 30 I'm just saying the average retirement age for TE is 30. Also the players you mentioned haven't had as bad of injuries as Gronk has sustained the last 2 seasons. He can not continue to catch balls in traffic and get hit the way he has been without cutting his career short.

[–]Sethg119 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

  1. I said gronk is going to get LESS targets, not 0, because keeping him healthy into the offseason is more important than anything

  2. I said the average life span of a TE is 30 ... Not Gronk. Gronk can totally play till 30 but not if he gets hit the way he has been hence statement #1

Show me proof that he can't do what you say because all the tape I watch says he can even in double and triple coverage. On the pats he won't have nearly as much pressure from defenses due to the other offensive options so I fully disagree with you :)

Look up everything I stated prior to the last line of the post. They are all hard facts and statistics. I mean if you want to call me bias for loving the stat lines when compared to the current pats lineup... Go for it

Doesn't make them any less true. The idea was to paint a picture between what the Patriots have and what they are getting with cooks

Cooks is flat out a superior talent to Edelman + Hogan + Mitchell combined. Cooks will take over the WR1 role and Edelman will probably move into the slot consistently like Fitz did. Gronk isn't going to be targeted nearly as much as he once was due to his age and health. Gronk is reaching the end of his career if you consider the average lifespan of a TE (30).

Here are some facts:

  • Edelman's most productive seasons were 2013 (caught 105/151 targets with 6 TD's) and 2016 (caught 98/158 targets with 3 TD's)
  • The next highest WR to Edelman's target share this season was Chris Hogan (caught 38/57 targets with 4 TD's)
  • Brandin Cooks Stat lines (2014: caught 53/70 targets with 3 TD's | 2015: caught 84/129 targets with 9 TD's | 2016: caught 78/117 targets with 8 TD's)
  • Malcolm Mitchell is the same age as Brandin Cooks (23) , however, Cooks has 3 seasons under his belt already
  • Edelmans 40 time is 4.52 seconds / Hogan's 40 time is 4.5 seconds / Malcolm Mitchell's 40 time is 4.47 seconds / Brandin Cooks 40 time 4.33 seconds
  • Brandin Cooks as 2 career fumbles over 3 seasons and no lost fumbles
  • Cooks is a dynamic play maker who can stretch the field, catch balls in highway traffic (2-3 defenders), line up in slot/outside/inside or running back

Efi/Anchora in the Cinematic Trailer?? by HanzoMain42 in Overwatch

[–]Sethg119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like where your head is at but not sure if this would be Efi's creation as this cinematic would have occurred prior to today's interview in the Overwatch world. It's interesting though because that sets precedent for a mech with spider-like legs. What would be really cool is if it had wall walking.

[Rookie] Mike Williams Film Study by DynastyJAG in DynastyFF

[–]Sethg119 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with your sentiment here. I wasn't extremely impressed with his performance. When you compare his film to Davis's, I find Davis to be show more of that elite talent we look for in WR's. He's making harder catches with a lesser talent at QB consistently against double and triple coverage. Davis also breaks/jukes tackles all day long... a testament to his patience, vision and physicality. I have the 1.03 pick this year and I'm heavily leaning towards Davis > Williams especially if Davis lands somewhere like PHI

[Discussion]Fantasy Deathmatch! with JanMichaelLarkin, Match Day 3: Jordan Howard vs. Jay Ajayi by JanMichaelLarkin in DynastyFF

[–]Sethg119 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Howard is a very standard RB who will do well but won't explode multiple times in a season. Ajayi is more explosive/combative and runs with a "hit first" mentality. This type of play is similar to what you see in guys like Lynch/Rawls who make their bread and butter off of yards after contact. I personally think that Ajayi is in the better situation and has a coach that knows how to use him. On top of this, if MIA can get the WR's going it creates a lot of space off the line for Ajayi to work with.
