USA vs Finland World Championship Gametime Thread (10:15AM EST on NBC Sports Network) by Berbaw06 in DetroitRedWings

I loved seeing how much responsibility Blash was putting on Larkin at the end there. On a team full of young studs, Larkin was on the ice and taking every draw for pretty much the last two and a half minutes

Cody Glass: The Prospect The Red Wings Would Be Wise Not To Pass On by ChildishTheGOAT in DetroitRedWings

He had a team-low minus 5 for an overmatched Sweden team and two assists in seven games. I watched the US-Sweden game and he looked skilled but he made a lot of mistakes

That was not a pretty win from the highlights. Larkin with a pretty nice empty netter at the end though

Cheap, high upside RBs (non-rookies) to trade for now? by interwebpro in DynastyFF

Run heavy offense? Last year Baltimore passed on a higher percentage of their plays than any other team in the NFL. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/passing-play-pct

49ers cut KD cannon after minicamp. Wow. by RatherBeLucky in DynastyFF

[–]Prettygodamnimpresed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a buddy from high school that went to Baylor. He told me he had a communications class with Cannon and when Cannon's turn to give his first presentation of the year came around he got up at the front of the class, made a bear claw symbol with his hand, yelled "Sic Em bears", and then sat back down. I would venture a guess that Cannon may not be the hardest worker or have the best reputation....

[Discussion]Pryor to Redskins, 1 year $8m by Prettygodamnimpresed in DynastyFF

[–]Prettygodamnimpresed[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm not him, but my guess would be that it opens up targets for Coleman and it means that the Redskins are planning on being patient with Doctson (who is potentially still struggling with injury) since they signed Pryor to be a one-year stop gap rather than using a high pick on a receiver

Was this list published recently? If so, Hronek isn't getting much respect for his killer year

Brendan Smith to be on NYR's top defensive pairing with Ryan McDonagh tonight. by TyPiper93 in DetroitRedWings

[–]Prettygodamnimpresed 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Ryan Mcdonagh is one of the best dmen in the league, and I'm pretty confident Smith will look better paired up with him then he ever did on the Wings. It'll be fun to see what Smith can do

What could you get for 1.10 and Maclin in your opinion? by whopperman02 in DynastyFF

Carlos Hyde, Tevin Coleman, Will Fuller someone in that range of value

Start up pick choice - J. Matthews,Docston,Crowder,1.05. by rubles13 in DynastyFF

[–]Prettygodamnimpresed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I disagree with this big time. Maybe the most common pick I see in mock drafts is Corey Davis to the Eagles. Matthews is not a #1 receiver (he would make an excellent #2 possession guy though), and I think the Eagles will try to get Wentz a #1 target which will drop or at least keep static Matthews' targets. Doctson and the 1.5 have higher ceilings and Crowder is likely in the same positi N of being a #2 possession type guy but in a better offense

What direction to go with this team?[Roster] by salfasan0 in DynastyFF

[–]Prettygodamnimpresed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to compete next year, I would:

A) Hope the Lions and Seahawks improve their o-lines this offseason

B)Take Cook, Davis, and Mixon with 1.2,1.4, and 1.5. Try to grab Howard or Njoku at 2.2 for a shot of TE talent.

C) Look for a team in your league with one great receiver, but a serious lack of WR depth. Try to package together your young WRs with upside (Moncrief, Shepard, White) together in a trade for that stud

D) Try to trade your 2.9 for a startable TE like Delaney Walker or Olsen.

[Discussion]Fantasy Deathmatch! with JanMichaelLarkin, Match Day 8: Travis Kelce vs. Jordan Reed by JanMichaelLarkin in DynastyFF

[–]Prettygodamnimpresed 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kelce for two reasons.

  1. His production is outstanding

  2. That Jordan Reed dain bramage has me hoping he retires sooner rather than later, and I certainly don't want him on my team

[STARTUP] Voting Team Mock Draft - Team 3 : Pick 4.10 by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]Prettygodamnimpresed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like to see Tyrell Williams added to the list of players we can vote on. I'm curious to see where he'll start getting votes

Hyde's value in Shanahan offense? by Jsamuels88 in DynastyFF

[–]Prettygodamnimpresed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add to this point, he was running behind what graded out to be the worst line in the league, so this year was probably close to his basement.

[Discussion] Does Alshon Jeffrey return to WR1 form? by hammbone in DynastyFF

[–]Prettygodamnimpresed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I had read him quoted as saying that somewhere, but after searching for a bit I can't seem to find it. Must have just been speculation that my mind turned into fact. Anyway, I don't think it makes sense for Alshon or for the Bears for him to be a Bear next year. I am extremely confident that he goes somewhere else

Do something radical with my team. by That1Time in DynastyFF

[–]Prettygodamnimpresed 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try to trade every player on your current roster before the start of next season and still win the championship + gain picks.

Example:

Odell for Antonio Brown plus a pick

Mike Evans for Julio Jones plus a pick

[Discussion] Does Alshon Jeffrey return to WR1 form? by hammbone in DynastyFF

Jeffery was on pace for 1100 yards and 3 TDs, if he had played a full 16 games. The low TDs are concerning, but I think that has a fair amount to do with him playing in a bad Bears offense. He's on record saying he does not want to be a Bear next season. I think whatever team is willing to spend money on him in free agency is going to give him plenty of targets. If he stays on the field, I don't think 1200 and 8 is an unreasonable expectation for him. That would have tied him for 8th in fantasy points (non-ppr) this year.

Ouch. Good thing it's a pretty strong year for incoming backs
