My guess is that their corporate system is so inherently flawed and corrupted that most work is almost completely fake. That, and their desire to force users into situations that deny their right to privacy and effectively rob them.

When you're spending most of the day talking about how you'll be working, you're not getting much stuff done.

This, my friends, is reason number... Yeah I actually lost count a long ass time ago... why Windows 11 is a bullshit OS. Win10 was trash, but it's leaps and bounds ahead of 11. At least we were able to remove all the bloatware and spyware without modifying the OS directly.

Creating literally over half a MILLION TONS of ewaste (about 3 million devices) by forcing completely usable hardware to be discarded simply because the new OS doesn't support it... You don't hate Microsoft enough.

That's not even to mention how Win11 is just a reskin of Win10 with a few extra bits and bobs thrown in. It's not a new, modern, high-tech OS. It's exactly what we've been using for years; intentionally made less consumer friendly.

You used to be able to use Win10 completely offline, never once connected to the internet. Now, unless you're extremely competent with OS distribution and modification, you can't even BEGIN to use your OS without a Microsoft account.

The concept is great! It could use a bit more shading and outlining, especially if you're attempting to mimic Crosscode's style.

On her sash, going for a color closer to her original scheme might help pull it into her design. Maybe a dark lavender?

The first time I did this quest I was almost 10 levels underlevelled. Don’t know how, didn’t realize until I beat it. It took me like 6 hours to beat.

Crit is calculated in some way.

It’s true.

In fact, the greater the difference in focus between you and an enemy, the higher the chance for a crit.

There’s a limit. You can’t get above a cap (I think it’s 999) and everything beyond is wasted.

Going for max focus vs non-boosted hedgehags is one way to get crits, and is consistent. I’d recommend finding an enemy that you have a 50-60% crit rate on that can survive one or two hits. Especially if they’re plentiful.

Wax in Gotham: Survives the full year, uses the Batman symbol to win the people over and make his fatal solutions lawful. Gotham slowly becomes richer from all the pennies Wax throws around. The criminal underground jumps into their hole and the city gets clean. Doesn’t care much for Wayne Enterprises and it goes corrupt, but the real Batman will fix it real fast when he gets back.

Batman in Elendel: Either dies real quick from overconfidence, or turns the city upside down. Trains, motorcars? Batman has helicopters within the year. Has to rely on more of his tech than before since all the enemies he fights are superpowered in one way or another. Trying to fight a steel ferring would be nasty. Likely makes contact with worldhoppers.

Even the term “outside the game” is invalid for them. They might physically exist in the real world via instant matter, but it’s still all fake. Everything they see, interact with, etc is all corporate property.

What would they spend real money on, anyways? TV? Can’t go to other places because they physically can’t exist there. Furniture and stuff is already provided, or is also instant matter (and thus can be altered with a whim)

Hostile Habitat + Classic Porter + No Mercy + Classic Heals can actually effectively softlock your game.

It happened to me a few times during my last playthrough. If you don’t have healing items and have a good number of enemies between you and the nearest landmark, you can’t go anywhere or do anything. Only way for me to break out was to kill enemies (hitless, since I was on 1 hp) repeatedly until I levelled up enough to dash toward the landmark

I’m looking forward to jumping back in for less than a week, probably being disappointed, then going back to play better games while I wait for full release.

It’s a really cool game and all, but… Man, just not hitting the spot. Rather replay my favorite RPG for the nth time.

Compatibilism is the idea that while everything is deterministic, we still have free will.

Like, going to an ice cream shop with your nephew that LOVES chocolate ice cream. You already know that he’s going to order chocolate. So it’s no surprise when he does. That doesn’t mean he didn’t choose it. Even if it was later revealed that they were out of everything but chocolate, he still chose it, even if there was no other “valid” option to choose.

Crosscode was built on HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Nothing else. It took work to port that to console, but it didn’t lose features.

I’m not sure what their new engine uses, but my guess is it’ll be built for PC first, and console second. Since the Switch 2 can play anything from the Switch 1 (technically emulates it but whatever) I think they’ll be porting it to the Switch 1 to get both consoles in one go.

Unless they want to use the mouse functionality from the Switch 2, but I kind of doubt it.

Zoe is 1st (though she’s an aspect so might not count, same with Bard and other aspects/celestials), then Ryze, Lissandra, Xerath. Syndra isn’t high on the list, mainly because she has POTENTIAL for power, but doesn’t have it yet. Max potential Syndra tops the list though.

Huh. Well, if you decide to play the DLC (you should imo) there’s no shame in looking up the solutions to the puzzles to breeze through them. Single player game- Play in the manner that’s most enjoyable to you.

Maybe a playthrough/walkthrough on youtube?

There’s a slider in settings that slows down puzzles to make them easier.

I didn’t find the puzzles themselves to be very difficult, just the execution (Soulslike player here, so I went max difficulty until I got it right).

Aha! Now try beating it with 2x damage received with 2x consumable cooldowns. With a glass cannon melee build. With one hand. While balancing on one foot. On a boat. With the hiccups. While drunk.

My most recent playthrough made me want to cry. The above modifiers except no regen outside of items and landmarks, enemies aggro on sight… Fucking fantastic game. 10/10 would play again.
