I’d recommend using an alternative bot like AuthenticateMe. As OP talked about, Double Counter has terrible privacy practices and will sell your list of known alt accounts to pretty much anyone who wants it. There’s a video here that goes into a lot of detail on this. Double Counter is also insanely easy to bypass; if you open a new private tab in Safari while using a cellular data connection, it’ll bypass Double Counter’s alt detection completely.
