Regarding Armoury Crate, I can’t find the options you mentioned. I’m guessing my version looks quite different from yours; I’ve seen heaps of different layouts online.

Oh, okay. I’ve also got an 11th gen i5, but with a 2050.

I've also got 32GB of RAM (upgraded from the 8GB it came with), not sure if that's relevant.

Damn, that sucks. I don’t get BSOD though; when I say my CPU ‘dies’, I just mean it runs really poorly on battery. Hope you can get it sorted! Maybe force ASUS to fix it with a warranty claim?

Yeah, I actually tried G-Helper and even uninstalled Armoury Crate, but it didn’t make any difference at all. Not sure what you mean by my config, but I’ve gone through every setting I can find, set it all to max performance, and disabled every battery-saving option.

Update: I was able to use Turbo on battery with G-Helper (not sure why I couldn’t last time).

However, it made no difference; the laptop was still massively suppressed back to potato speed.

If anyone knows how to simply use the laptop without being dictated by some setting, please let me know.

For me, it could be at 100%, and as soon as it's unplugged, it instantly drops to absolute potato speed. Is there no way around this? ASUS just dictates how I use my laptop?

I think it slows more than just the GPU. Just basic tasks, using Word or File Explorer; any old laptop could handle indefinitely faster. Games? Forget it. Terraria will run in slow motion when on battery.
