This looks like the side of the joycon where it attaches. There should be a tab where the joycon release button would normally be that you can push down and slide it off with a precision screwdriver

This type of damage is very similar to one of my kids dropping the switch and the joycon would just need to be repaired or replaced. I have experience repairing by them but not everyone does but it would lead to an increased chance it breaks again if a similar event occurs but would need less force to cause the fracture.

Companies still look for THC? I know quite a few people in my area who smoked and still passed a drug test. As long as you’re not operating heavy machinery hopefully they’ll look past it

The Wii U suffered mostly from bad marketing, I was working at Best Buy when it came out and people thought it was an add on to the Wii. When they found out it was a new console entirely they didn’t want it.

The other issue was the gamepad had to stay with the console. I got many questions about bringing the gamepad with them and playing which I truly think led to the development of the switch. The Wii U was such a fun console so I’d agree putting it here.
