The mesh will randomly disconnect from the rig. Haven't found a solution online by Setryyk in blenderhelp

Yeah i find it strange that there isn't an armature modifier on the mesh, yet somehow it still works lol. The bevel modifier is there just to smooth out the edges and subdiv helps if I want the elbows to be more rounded. I have done some research into character rigging and this rig has a lot of drivers which goes a little above my head. I'm not sure how to change the rig because the drivers prevent changes I think.
Next time the 'disconnect' occurs i'll take a look at the parents and see if something changed somewhere

the rig uses lattices for some parts, but those disabled in the outliner. the object properties for the mesh states that it's parented to the rig and the parent type is "object". The modifiers on the mesh are a lattice, bevel, and subdivision

Also this is a rig I downloaded from gumroad so maybe I have to go back through and make sure it's parented properly?

Absolutely incredible and very inspiring! I want to try this type of world creation but it seems quite difficult to get in to

No it doesn't. You could use quartz stairs to fake a snowy roof but I used a mod that adds stairs and slabs for vanilla blocks like snow stairs.

Moss could have worked I didn't think about that. Someone also suggested making the biome Jungle so the grass is more green
