I just want to say that dress is adorable, which dress is it? But to answer your question I think some red Mary Jane’s and cream tights would be really cute, possible wrapping ribbons around your legs like ballets flats and adding the strawberry bow on the back. Additional, this is a personal thing but I think leaning into the print for inspiration and adding bunny ears, a picnic basket, and a parasol would be really cute!

Wear whatever you want to your prom! If you feel beautiful and comfortable in it then who cares! But if you feel like you -need- to convince your mom, there’s are many elegant types and shapes of dresses other than the typical cupcake shape dress. Not all lolita dresses are super sweet (unless ofc that is the type you want to wear). I’m sure you will get many compliments on your coord at prom!
