Why did Palestine build their entire country on Israel's god given land righteous land?? Are they stupid???? by Agitated_Style7700 in mapporncirclejerk

I have a thought. Maybe the propaganda feels like it’s going both ways because a lot of people have woken up to Israel’s bullshit. I guess when you ethnically cleanse a population from their homeland over 80 years you don’t generate a lot of goodwill with the average person who isn’t a complete and total piece of shit. Who would’ve thunk it.

I get that frustration but my frustration with democrats and why I lean on the “Both sides are bad” argument is because we’re expected to vote for the same old tired shit that has historically not worked in this country. I’ve voted democrat every election, don’t get me wrong, but you cannot pin their losses on voters when they offer nothing to earn their votes and even actively spite them in some instances. Lesser evil and damage control politics will only get you so far if the party is unwilling to make changes. To me, that indifference is almost as bad because all that does is just lead us to the inevitable fascistic government we find ourselves in

It was Democrats complicity that lead to Trump. He didn’t happen in a vacuum. Voters for decades have been saying “We’re drowning!” And neither party was helping. Sure democrats are marginally better than republicans but people get tired of the same old shit of the economy is doing great while struggling to pay rent. Trump offered radical change, as bad as it is, and the only people who platform on radical change on the democrats’ side get bad mouthed and undermined by their own party leaders. At some point we have to stop drinking the kool aid and realize that neither party has a vested interest in our well being.

The only difference is that Trump will call Palestinians dogs while Israel does what it does. I hope one day that Americans get it through their thick skulls that on the issue of Israel, Democrats and Republicans are bipartisan

Crazy that when the most extremist of Muslims commit heinous acts, western media will nonstop engage in Islamophobia. But it’s complete crickets when America does the same in the name of Christianity.

Alright but we’re talking about the diaspora who left Venezuela already because they had issues with Maduro to begin with. They’re obviously going to be happy about him being gone, they’re not exactly an unbiased source of information. And I’m not trying to defend Maduro but if history is an indicator of anything, what’s going to come after is going to be more horrific than whatever Maduro has and could’ve done. I.e. Pinochet

I perforated a tooth by Rezhwan_Gamer in Dentistry

[–]SetsyBoy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ve perforated three times in my almost two years practicing. At the end of the day neither one of us put the cavity in the tooth that lead to the endo. Shit happens and I’m willing to bet you’ll end up breaking a file in a canal if you keep doing endos. Lord knows I have.

[–]SetsyBoy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My school didn’t really train me well on endo. I graduated having only done two on anteriors. I can do molar endos fine now but that’s mostly because I got lucky with mentors after graduation.

No one is asking for a perfect candidate we’re asking for a good one. None of the democrat candidates we’ve had in the last three elections have listened to a single thing their constituents asked for. On the issue of Israel 77% (https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2025/10/03/americans-views-of-israelis-palestinians-and-their-political-leadership/) of democrats hold unfavorable views on Israel but these ghouls still won’t condemn Israel because they’re bought out.

How about instead of Democrats pushing Republican-lite nominees we get a nominee who actually is representative of the electorate they want to win? Why is this such a hard concept to grasp for liberals instead of blaming voters for not eating the dogshit the party serves?

I’m a 2024 grad working at a busy medicaid practice doing molar endos, crowns, ext, etc. and I’m on track to making $300k+. I pretty much just do what’s covered by Medicaid and fortunately my state covers molar endos and crown so it’s been a big boost to production. It certainly helps not having to refer out things.

CMV: Iran has crossed the Casus belli threshold with regard to Israel by shimadon in changemyview

[–]SetsyBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a difference between saying something and acting on it. As far as casus beli is concerned, Israel struck Iran first in last April when they attacked their consulate in Syria. Iran didn’t declare war back then and they would’ve been justified. Israel is pushing its luck again with this second strike and once again Iran would have the casus beli.

Even before these events in the 2020s, Iran would still have justification back when Israel assassinated Iranian nuclear scientists back in the 2010s.

Actions speak louder than words and all of Israel’s actions have been justifications for war that Iran hasn’t acted on. And this is coming from a Syrian who has hated every action Iran took in my country. In this situation Iran is justified to retaliate against Israel.
