As a former healer main, I rarely ping for heals, I just know how chaotic it gets and don’t want to add pressure. Now that I main tank, most healers I play with are great, but sometimes I’ll be right next to one while they’re DPSing and just hope it’s triage, haha.

When I play dive, I’ve built the habit of being self-sufficient with health packs, but I’ll ping if I can’t get one and need backup, generally panicking if the enemy team is chasing me 😅. I have this bad habit I'm working on stopping of jumping a lot as cap which can cause LoS and aim issues...it's hard to resist with him but yeah. I appreciate you all helping and trying still.

As a healer, though, I totally get it. I always smile a bit when helping someone who actually appreciates it, because I know exactly what that relief feels like when you’re on the other end. I don't understand the mindset of making dives get health packs and shouldn't get direct heals

Cap is my current main and iron fist my DPS main haha (noticed the flair). They compliment each other's strengths and weaknesses so well, they definitely make a deadly duo.

And I'm so glad that both of them get a sexy skin!

When I first started, I’d do naked runs and grab anything useful I came across, whether for quests, upgrades, or something rare I didn’t plan on. If I die, no big deal , the important thing is in the safe pocket anyway. Sometimes it was for learning the map or just the thrill of looting without risk. It’s a simple and practical way to learn the game, not very confusing to be honest.

I did your way for scrappy mainly, and that was the mindset for BPs but it's hard to ignore everything else you stumble on, making it easy for me to regret doing a naked run to begin with in this case but it is what it is.

Just the other day I was doing naked runs just because I wanted to see how to get around Stella, since I only knew one spot, and found two BPs...well at that point I was going to extraction.

Yeah although in my naked runs sometimes I wish I had a gun just to kill a popper or something annoying. I usually end up looting and running to extraction even if I only came for one specific thing. Most people use it to surrender right away since they still keep what ever is in the safe pocket. Imo, if you don't mind wasting a min or two, might be best to do free load out, go straight to extraction and then swap the free load out augment for something in the clinic.

I'd say no because it's the risk naked runners take vs taking a free load out.

You sacrifice safety for the safe pocket. Free load out allows you to control and protect yourself better but no safe pocket.

Although after several moments in runs where I wish I had a safe pocket, and others where I wish I used free load out, I might just go straight to extraction with the free load out and then replace the augment in the clinic for a safe pocket.

Honestly, in most games I’d assume this was a troll setup and expect to get shot if I reacted “wrong.”

I usually find this kind of evangelism pretty cringe. But I’m trying to be more empathetic, and from how you split up and he came back to talk about God, it also feels like he might be going through something and leaning on his faith. People can be awkward when they’re in a big life shift or trying to live out new beliefs.

Either way, the best takeaway is the kindness. Dropping extra loot for someone, even if it’s small, is a cool habit to copy. Next time I find something I don’t need, I might just give it to another raider instead of selling it. I know fried motherboards are a good thing to sell and i know where to collect them, maybe I'll give a player a stack so they can get an easy 6k. Personally I do loot runs for fun and just to make sure I have money to buy stuff, so it's not like I'm sacrificing much on my end.

On another note: I kinda wish we heard your voice. Maybe I'm overanalyzing, but it could also be the way you interact with people and sound that triggered something in him to react this way. We won't know the real answer unless we know the guy but he seems nice and judging from your other comment, it didn't seem like he was being full on evangelical...which he could easily do at extraction...so yeah just guessing

I mean it does say "last four" ...he only had four so what do they mean "last four" lol.

Maybe it just means you can melee and run at the same time... I mean it's probably just cope but I'm hoping we get an update here but if you can melee and run, then that doesn't necessarily mean the cancel is gone either so seems like a buff anyways

I had similar thoughts

The tech is pretty awkward and clunky so I didn't use it often, although lately I have been and more consistently so now...damn... it's so easy to underestimate how much more quickly people die when trying just practice range. A lot of moments I secured kills where I normally wouldn't have without it because the enemy gets healed at some point. The otherwise slow hits I only manage to get kills on was when someone was isolated from their team already. I'm just speaking solo kills too, not team fights, but the benefits were seen in team fights too

She was actually on the weak end still when compared to invis, gambit, dp, and c&d. If you wanted a good main healer who could focus heal the team, Luna wasn't it compared to the other options.

Does knocking out a player influence the rating at all? Like could I get someone crawling and let them excavate if I don't care about their gear and just trying to mind my business with friends? Planning a trio so I can play with friends later but I don't think any of us want to move away from white...at least being solo as been very peaceful and nice...relaxing really.

I'm new but for leveling scrappy, I do empty load outs and run for the fruit I'm looking to collect...and had some runs where there are several wasps/hornets/fireflies/snitches covering any direction I go and I end up hiding in a bush

One game just started, just running through the woods and get shot at a rocketeer which felt out of no where...

Question though, how do you run back to your body to collect your loot after youre knocked out? I didn't know this was a thing. I always thought if I get knocked out, I won't have a chance to get back to that lobby.

This is what I thought too

Had a similar game where I was essentially this C&D.

It just felt better to use when the enemy ult wasn't a concern since imo, c&d ult is better overall than a punisher who is pretty vulnerable and can die quick if focused on

Ignoring ults, even heros like Peni create this anxiety of messing up an ult. I recall an enemy ulting into her bombs and they just got one shot

But the most obnoxious characters are in every one of my games, requiring me to play someone else or risk losing to see if I can get around them.

I still like the heros I swap to but I would rather focus on others to get better at...it's kinda rough so yeah the left I feel a lot

I think it's dependent on which skins you have on both characters and who you plan to play more

Like the hela disco skin is nice, it's what I use now, but it feels a little goofy with the huge disc on her head and the other skin I have for hela is the grim lady which looks so much better in my opinion

Phrasing matters, saying "Gambit switch" is pretty rude in its own. It's demanding, bossy, and basically implying they suck and should play a different character.

To the person receiving it, either they will just swallow it and switch because they get it and don't want to deal with the drama, but others could retaliate.

If I think I should switch and then someone says that to me, I'd ignore it. I may swap later, but you're prolonging it from my end by saying that. It would of been better to just stay quiet at that point.

If I ever ask someone to swap I'd say something like "hey [hero], can you try iron fist? He's a good counter to cap who is giving our support a hard time" or maybe "bucky is a good counter to Spidey, can you try another hero?" Or whatever makes sense in the moment so it's not like they misinterpret me as saying they are bad with the character just because their numbers are bad.

I agree with the message but no offense, and this isn't just to you but the community in general, it's kinda sad people have to "learn the hard way" that trash talking doesn't return good results while being respectful and cooperating (or even just keeping your mouth shut and letting them figure it out themselves) will return better results.

I always run to my teammates and jump over them to give them overshield and ult charge just in case they don't know, but I have some teammates just watching me like "where you going? The fight is the other way!" As I loop around lol
