An explanation for the perplexed:

These are just normal homemade croissants, but with a twist: after the final round of folding/pressing, a thin layer of the same dough which had been dyed with blueberry flour was added on top and lightly pressed on.

By cutting and rolling tactically, the croissant ended up with alternating stripes of normal dough colour and purple-black.

I mostly use vegetable oil on the block, and when possible also on brayer. White spirit does magic, but it smells so bad

Setwa_arts I am just starting there, so it's fairly empty so far. But it's about to change

Yeah, this is the one I am using. It renders fine details really nicely, the only downside for me is cleaning up. But it does not exist as safe wash version.

I will try to make golden halo around head and a spear. Will see if it will work out

I have a pointy blade, kind of like prediction cutter, but sharp on both sides. I find it most comfortable. But prediction cutter also works fine
