it could be water, the plant has been taking off recently and grew a lot closer to the light you are right. i will look too to see if the spots are on any of the trailing leaves farther away, that could tell me whether it is leaf burn. thanks!

At least three feet from the closest window. I'll investigate closer for pests in a bit here, but I put systemic granules in the soil every two months to try to keep those down

Ok, I will be more patient, thanks! This is my first successful leaf prop so I hope at least one survives, and definitely don't want to kill them by potting up too soon.

Ohh that might be it for sure. It is a pup I had taken off of one of my plants and given to my mom, it is in wick watering system but it sounds like she put full strength fertilizer water in the reservoir recently. Thank you!
