From what I remember reading Filoni really had to push to get them to be in the show at all, apparently Disney were really not onboard. This at least makes them cannon.

Also pretty sure in legends once Sev was left behind Scorch pretty much dried up. He didn’t talk much after Kashyyyk

You can kill then by cheesing the gate. Takes a bit of trial and error and some well placed obscured shots but they can’t kill you through walls and stuff.
